  1. Somebody told me that these have the same pattern on them as the 280zx aircon unit, does anybody know if this is true? i've had the aircon removed on mine and being n/a wouldnt mind hooking one up for a bit of extra horsepower and seeing as they only run around 3psi it's not going to cause any problems on a stock motor.

  2. is it possible to turn my n/a l28 into a turbo using donor parts from a l20et? had a look around and couldnt really find anything on it. would it be possble to get the necessary internals and injectors off it and bolt on to the l28 or are piston sizes etc different, so not just stroke that makes the difference in displacement on these motors.

  3. yeah as the maf unit is friggen big and bulky and i've never pulled it off to look at it but there always constricting. how hard was that to do? my problem is being on the other side of the world i have to get everything shipped from the us.

  4. see i love the look of some of those after market manifold in how clean they look without all the vacuum hoses etc attached. they obviously have an increase on a stock manifold but i have to find out what they are worth in power increases over a p75 as i cant find any written info on the jdm motor but have been told it had like and extra 20hp on stock

  5. does anybody know(i'm sure there is definately more then one) how to safely remove the outer b pillar cover in my 280 2+2 i've got the haynes manual as i want to remove my rear glass to get a decent tint on it (old one is crap) but to get full access i need to remove the glass. the manual just simply states remove the cover then undo the screws for the glass but how do i "remove the cover" i can pull corners out a bit but can just see myself snapping it. is there a technique or is the manual neglecting something? thanks

  6. whos got an exhaust on their straight 6 zed? the reason is bar the fact is i'n pretty sure mine has a minor leak on the headers somewhere on the join it sounds well... a bit like a truck. now i know the nissan staright six's have never really had the prettiest note but this is funny as. a had a mate say "i didn't think it would go as fast as it did because it sounded like a truck" i have extractors with a 2 1/4 inch exhaust and a hi flow muffler but not straight through on my l28. can anybody maybe reccomend a new muffler brand/model etc

  7. can anybody who owns a 280/ l28 please post up pics of their motors, it's hard enough as is having a p75 manifold so nothing looks the same as the haynes manual for hoses and stuff but wanna see what everyone elses looks like. does anybody have one of those block mounted blowers? were they australian issued?
