just picked up a 71 240 with a 327 sbc, wasn't really in the market but couldn't resist her. i've own a couple Zs in the past but never really mod-ed them, always liked them. checking numbers on the block and heads and it looks good; freshly rebuilt (maybe 200 mi on it) 1965 327 block with 69/70 double hump heads, weiand stealth intake and some carter 4barrel slapped on top. turbo 400 auto trans, stock r180 dif. have to change that dif. can't seem to keep the tires from spinnig.. darn just wanted to say this site has been a great resourse, really appreciate all the info. so.. what do you think of the 327 swap, see alot of talk about the 350s and 383s, this 327 really screams. the outside is totally stock, no mods at all, it's a bit of a sleeper. i'll thow up some pics soon.
