  1. Maybe I didn't read far enough into it - looked to me like there were some pretty nice answers given if you overlooked the name calling!
  2. Quite possibly there will be more than one that I touch on!
  3. I didn't see a nomination for the 280zforce ... however, if you feel that that should be considered, you are WELCOME to post "280zforce" in this thread and I will definitely consider it part of the poll.
  4. Alright, all ... the poll will be open through November 21, and then we'll tally up the votes and see which thread you're most interested in seeing. Happy voting, all!
  5. Keep an eye out, as I keep going in the magazine it's definitely something I'll bring up. HybridZ has a totally unusual and (to me anyway!) fascinating batch of stories. For the time being though, I'm going to prepare the poll. Give me a couple minutes and we'll start the voting.
  6. Alright, all ... I'm going to leave open for about 30 more minutes so you all can post any further threads you think are interesting, then I'll close it down and create the poll. Thanks for all your input, hope you're having a good evening.
  7. Make sure you guys link me to the threads you're nominating ... I'll do my best to find 'em but if I can't, I can't use them! Also - you all are doing AWESOME with coming up with topics of interest. I really appreciate all the thoughts so far, let's keep them coming so that we have lots of great choices for the poll!
  8. As most of you know, I have a column in Nissan Sport which is called Sarah's Web Watch, where I write about what you all in the forums are talking about. So for Winter of 2008, since it'll be my first column writing about the forums instead of about myself (haha), I'm asking your help to get me started! I would like for you all to choose your favorite HybridZ.com thread. It should be a thread that has been relatively popular amidst your fellow forum members, and it should be hybrid Z related (i.e. preferably not an offtopic thread). Please link the thread you're nominating in your nomination post! At the end of the day Nov. 15, 2007 I will take a look at all of your thread choices, pick 6-7 of them, and run a poll for which is everyone's favorite of the choices; the poll will then run through Nov. 21, and whichever thread wins will be covered in Sarah's Web Watch. Thanks in advance for all your help!

  12. NISSAN ANNOUNCES FIRST DETAILS ON NEW GT-R Tokyo, Japan – Nissan today started the pre-launch activities in support of the all-new GT-R, the high performance sports car to be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 24th. Central to the launch of GT-R, which will ultimately go on sale around the world, is a dedicated website that will provide all information on the car, including latest news, specifications and where to buy. The address for the website is http://www.gtrnissan.com and will be available in six languages: Japanese, English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. With sales due to start in Japan in December, Nissan is today also confirming the final name of the car. Previous generations of this car were known as the Skyline GT-R; the new name for this car is simply “Nissan GT-R†in all global markets. Supporting substantial early customer interest in the Nissan GT-R, the company is today making available for customers in Japan some initial details including basic specifications, colors and practical information on placing pre-orders. Prices in Japan for the Nissan GT-R will start from around 7.8 million yen. In support of the sale of the Nissan GT-R, the company also announced today the establishment of 160 Nissan High Performance Centers in Japan. These centers have been established to provide specialist sales and servicing support for customers of the Nissan GT-R.
  13. This is a great upcoming event and if you're a Nissan/Datsun enthusiast, it's a must attend! Nissan Sport will have a booth, as will Nissan North America. While the event is open to all 1984 and earlier Japanese Cars, last year the majority of the cars were Datsuns, with many early Z cars. Check out the Japanese Car Show to see your Z's Grandfather & Great Grandfather (or Grandmother & Great Grandmother if you prefer!) The Japanese Car Show is October 6th from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and the location is Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, CA--it's a great location. $5.00 to get in, kids under 12 are free. Part of the profits benefits the Juvenile Diabetics Research Foundation. Check out the website at www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com for more information! C'mon out and meet some folks from Nissan Sport and see some great vehicles!
  14. Hi, guys! Glad to hear from you all who have been enjoying the magazine. Here are the front cover page and table of contents so you all can see.
  15. If you're not sure if Nissan Sport is for you, now try the magazine risk free! We are in the final stages of proofing the new Fall 2007 issue. The editors tell me this is the best work they’ve ever done. The new issue features a yin-yang pair of stroked 350Zs, exclusive wind-tunnel testing of aero mods, an in-depth look at the greatest generations of the Nissan GT-R, as well as tons of car and truck tech. But it's the riveting life story of the greatest driver to ever navigate the legendary East African Safari Rally that sets this issue apart. It is stunning. Nissan Sport guarantees that if you are a serious Nissan, Infiniti, or Datsun enthusiast, you will love this issue or we’ll completely refund your money. Go to www.nissansportmag.com to subscribe. The deadline to get in on the early-bird mailing of the new Fall 2007 issue is Tuesday, September 18. The issue will start arriving in mailboxes in early October (for those who order by the deadline) and will be on newsstands nationwide in mid October. If you have any questions or have address updates, feel free to write me personally at sarah@nissansportmag.com, bug the editors at editor@nissansportmag.com, or call circulation at 505-771-2374. Enjoy the new issue--and while you're visiting our website, don't forget to vote for me on the poll at the homepage! Sarah Robinson Editorial Assistant, Nissan Sport www.nissansportmag.com
