    Deffinately sounds to me like your piping isn't ran right all the way and u deffinately still have a vacuum leak

     

    I do remember another thread that was discussed stating if your not going to hook up both pcv hoses to the intake, the one ontop the valve cover and from the block you should put a filter on them because it will cause a another vac leak. As for the idle screw, I don't beleive it will work properly with out the iac tubing (mess) is hooked up.

  2. Deffinately sounds plossible since your jamming alot of air into the cylinders with wider valve openings and your fuel is just barely igniting. Anytime you up your cam and intake your always up your fuel injectors and might have to upgrade the computer but as long as the cam isn't too high your should be fine with bigger injectors.

  3. I replaced my tps sensor and im having issues adjusting it with an ohmeter and I went searching threads but no one really touched base on adjusting tps with and ohmeter. Could somone give me some tips on what signals the tps sends out on what prongs for idle cruise and wot?

  4. Yes I do have a back up car to drive i figure this car will be down for a while if not a year so I can work the bugs out of it and stuff. So i do deff have time thats not an issue.

    Also do you know where i can find a custom intake. I heard there were manufacturers that make them would you know where to start?

  5. I was told to post a budget and goals but i don't have a budget i just buy part by part. But my goals are i want this motor to deff rev higher and produce a great amount of power but i want to be able to drive it out side of the strip. Emissions is not an issue for me.

  6. You guys are awsome. This is more information that i ever thought i would get. My budget isn't set. I can save for each part, im not looking at getting this done in a week. But how ever i would like to drive it normally but i do want power. Im still trying to jam all this in my head with learning the physics and stuff. Do you kno where i could start on that efi system and how would that tie in to my normal ecu and interior wiring. And how would i find the ratio for the intake cam and head porting?

  7. Kool so the throttle body is not the place to start. What I want to do is change the head i have to a turbo head but keep it N/A i was hoping on getting a custom intake and bigger throttle body and bigger cam. I was told with the turbo head i could encrease the rpm range so i wanted to open the intake as much as possible since im not using a turbo ( this includes headers). So if i do that i kno i need to upgrade my fuel system so keep up with the air coming in. What can i do about that?

     

    Just read the discussion in that link and the discussion opened my mind to keep the throttle body stock but try to get the heads intake ports opened along with the runners of the intake. Will keep reasearching opening head and intake. But that deffinately makes since not to open the throttle body but to open the intake and head first before even thinking of the throttle body. I want a good throttle range not full power at 50% throttle

  8. I figure enlarging the first obstacle will allow more air to be pulled to the throttle body so if i get a big bored throttle body it wont be in vaine. And thank you for that info on the cam now the stock cam of the p90 wont be good for higher rpms right? Also do you think the header for the n42 will work with my s130 style steering?

  9. My uncle said that i should be able to swap a turbo head on to my 82' N/A L28 what should i look for and on the P90 which head is better to use the hydraulic lifter head or the other? Also curious on how to swap the electronics of the non trubo afm to the turboed afm housing? (supposed to be bigger?)
