  1. I have used both and i prefer the finger trigger. been welding for over 10 years stick, wire (steel and alum) tig (steel and alum) Like others have told you #1#1 is get comfortable This is very important when you lean over on the table weather you are standing or sitting get comfortable. If you cant get comfortable you will never lay a nice bead!!! (go through the motions before you strike a arc, and position your hands and body according to how long of a weld you running) #2 is practice you keep on keeping on and you will get it

  3. Ok i have this posted in the Z driver forums. I will copy and paste from different post to get you as informed as poss. Started this thread about a month ago.I busted my tranny last week So done the swap this weekend, put new clutch pess. plate and so on. Running fine when i put it in my garage, Got finished late tonight go to crank it up and it sounded really bad. Like i had a monster huge cam in it!!!! I have a 83 n/a bone stock. It chugged for about 3-4 mins and the fuel light came on then died. now it wont crank up at all. Sounds like it wants to start up but it wont. ran compression test had 150 psi or plus on all 6 ok i pulled all plugs and the where caked with oily residue and not firing well. on 3 of the 6 cylinders. So replaced all plugs fired up but ran like elephant s**t so i held at 2 to 3 rmp for about 2 mins pulled plugs and had the same residue on them but not as bad. So cleaned plugs and done again ran at about 3 grand for 5 mins or so until died could hold throttle wide open would die couldnot let off throttle would die. then eventually died noticed a glare from under car and the exhaust was glowing bright as hell all the way back SCARED the s**t out off me I couldn't tell if it was forward of the cat but cat and back was bright as a cig lighter. update: i had a little time to work on the 280. So i replaced the plugs and wires and replaced the coil, d-cap and rotor button, no help at all. fired up but running just the same ( like $#!&) It seems like it is developing a pattern, it will crank up after it sits for a days or so, runs decent for like the high idle period when you crank a cold car up. when you first crank it up you can work the throttle "pretty smooth" (not perfect) from idle to about 3-4 grand and it responds decent. but with a noticeable miss. After about 2mins of running then it goes straight to the pits and it sounds like the plugs are fouling out. And dies. Then it wont crank until i clean the plugs or it sits for another day. all help is much appreciated Jason
