F54 block and a N42 head?

What head would be best for naturally aspirated build up? a n42? right now i currently have a n47 head, with the n42 would it raise my compression?

Would a 1982 200sx 5 spd be close to the same gearing as a 280zx 5 spd? would it mount has anyone ever swapped the transmission over?
