what should the pressure be?

I have an 82’ 280ZX that just stopped running and will not start.  It is getting fuel.  Coil is firing.  With plug removed and touched to the block I get a very weak or no spark. But if I pull the plug away from the block I get a strong spark jumping from the plug to the block. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on with it?
