1. They are a little dark but you get the picture. I bought them at Lowes in the roofing supply section. They were like 5.00 each and you can't beat the sound quality...
2. I put my 5 1/4 " 3 way speakers in the ceiling using a plastic pipe roofing insulator hardware store $5.00 thing. It slips between the roof skin and the side metal pieces. It hangs down and it is a perfect fit for the speakers. They look like they were professionally made. They don't really interfere with vision and I have bumped my head but only once or twice. Why did I do it? You cannot beat the sound quality. Speakers in doors or the center console are okay but they get blocked by my legs so they are virtually useless. If you want I'll post pix.
3. ...and going strong.
4. Z season never ends in beautiful So. Cal. ! Sorry I don't mean to gloat...
5. I have a good used hood but I'm in Socal. Try Craigslist you might be pleasantly surprised.
6. Pick a Part and U Pick Part are in North Hollywood and are pretty much always boom or bust in terms of their Z inventories. There is also 2 Pick a Parts in Long Beach off of PCH that are within a couple of miles of each other. They always seemed to have a bunch of Z's. I've been to the ones in Orange County and they had nothing. Not even worth the trip down...
7. S130 taillights in an S30 just look boring (to me). This looks exciting (again, to me). I haven't ruffled any feathers have I? I'm ever so sorry if I have.
8. What are y'all talkin' about? That's a HybridZ in the truest sense of the word !!!
9. I'm ever so sorry if I hurt anybodys feelings.
10. Yeah, you're right. I hope you find what you're looking for. A BRE type spoiler will help dispel fumes as well.
11. I'm trying to get my head around that mentality. Why would someone sell a new part at below new prices other than they don't mind taking a loss and just want to recover something. Conversely, if I want a new item, I will pay new prices because it is worth it in the long run. I will also buy used if it can be ascertained that it is almost as good as new and there is a large price reduction involved. That's what I was describing what I had for sale to you, an almost new seal at a large price reduction. I am not trying to pass along crap or rip anybody off. Good luck... P.S.; Thanks for the link, I swear that looks just like Stacy Keach in "Heavens Gate"
12. Is your avatar Stacy Keach or Freddy Mercury? There's someone else on here that uses the same picture...
13. Oh if you want a new one just try MSA.
14. Salvage title? Wouldn't this vehicle get a Non-Operational title if this story rings true? Something doesn't smell right. I do like those rims though...
15. Defintely the longest glass pack you can fit will do wonders.
16. Fix it yourself and charge the guy lower than his deductible. Odds are you will make money on the deal as well; "for pain and suffering".
17. The universal set I purchased came with (if I remember correctly) 2 plastic clips and one of them was the correct one for the pin-style mount. These are definitely worth hunting down and they are competetively priced with premium rubber washers...
