  1. hey, im giving a realistic time that this car will be painted and running in a few years because im trying to buy a house and the car comes second. anywho, it's a 1977 that im putting a 1uz with a w58 trans into. when i get to it i will post tutorials about the swap. but my problem is the car has a 1 piece gnose, fiberglass fenders, stretched in the rear, and has a corvette greenwood spoiler. i know i want a front air dam, and i have to do something with the rear wing. here's some pics of the car now. i need some ideas of what to save up for/what i like.
  2. you guys should check out american autowire. their mainly for gm cars, but im sure you can figure out how to wire it to a z. i paid 400 for a 22 circuit fuse box and wiring and manuals. everything is labeled and color coded. but you screw down tabs on the block to hold the wires to the fuse box. so you can put it almost anywhere in the car. i bought it for my 70 camaro, but sold it before i had a chance to install it.
  3. im buying a 77 280z couple that has no chrome trim. is yours in decent shape?and will it even fit a 2 seater?
  4. yea, too much for me.but it should get you an idea of what a tacky vent job looks like.
  5. hey, this is a z im buying, but i will be changing the vents.the stock 77-78 hood vents are on the side of the front fenders. The stock 280zx hood vents are in the rear fenders, and the top of the front fenders. im removing the vents on top of the front fenders, and changing the front-side vents with 70-70 trans-am fender vents.
  6. hey, this is my first post here.a little background before my question though. both of my parents drove z cars. mom had a 240 and 280. my dad had a 260. i've been in a z from when i was born till i was 17 and now im purchasing a custom wide body 77 z. but i want to mount mirrors on the fenders like the fairlady z. so i was wondering if zx power mirrors would work on the 77z? can i go to a junkyard and rip a pair a mirors and the wiring and switches, or does a computer control the mirrors? is any of this possible? thank you. kevin
