  1. Hi guys, was wondering if yall got any advice on how to remove a stripped transmission filler bolt. Last night, my retarded brother in law wanted to help locate the plug. Upon locating it, he decides to use his "trusty and infallible" adjustable wrench...... even when i gave him the right size open ended wrench. So i leave to go buy some MT90 tranny oil, along the way he calls me up and tells me to buy a pipe wrench. First thing i thought was "F**k he stripped it". Sure enough, when i got home, it was stripped beyond all recognition. But being that he and his wrench is "infallible, always right, and im wrong" and its my POS car. I have to find a way to fix it. Needless to say he did and said all of this after a few Lonestars(a.k.a. strong beer from texas). So at this point i was thinking of just spraying with PB blaster and keep on trying to pry it open with a pipe wrench. Any advice is appreciated. But please be positive, last night and this morning has been pretty rough. Also, i cant seem to find a search article on this.
  2. i was chiseling away at it for a while when its cold, but its too time consuming and upon removing a portion of it, i notice there was a gunky glue build up. got in touch with a dynamat rep, he says short of using acetone or a paint remover, you cant really get it off there. on the bright side, he did say that its ok to put another layer of dynamat over it. im probably gunna use a grinder to smooth out rough dynamat and place another layer over.
  3. After stripping my interior, i noticed that there was old dynamat placed around the shifter on back. They dynamat bubbled up, so i was wondering if there was a chemical or tool that could remove the old dynamat. if not, is it ok to place a new sheet of dynamat over the old?
