need someone to help me place a 240z bumper on my 280z. Its a matter of cutting the brackets and welding them at an angle. I have front and rear bumpers and all brackets needed so PM is you can help with the cutting n welding.

gonna lower it next...doing the interior now...rather than racing seats I decided to re-leather the original ones which I like....finally I have to get the 240z bumpers to fit ....

I'm looking to cut into the fenders as I have 16 inch wheels which will need a bigger space. My local paint shop did not feel confident enough to cut into the fender.

I've made the switch from American Cars, having restored a 1965 mustang in the past, to the great datsun Z. Not knowing much about the datsun, I call on the help on some of you experts. Now, I have found my inspiration car, which comes from an amazing car on a youtube video. Can we break down that car, body wise, with your help I will turn my 280z into the car on the youtube video. what I have: What I want: What I know I need so far (correct?): XXX1. Early 240z front and rear Bumpers--check: bought em on ebay $350 2. Rear Flares 3. Pewter color Paint 4. RB Rota wheels: 16' x 8 with a spacer in the back to fill flare 5. type I front air Dam XXX6. BRE Spoiler -check: got it on ebay $200 7.Fender Mirrors did I miss anything else? where are the best places to find the parts I need? Thank you all much for any help posted.

I actually contacted the owner of the car. He has on 16 x 9 on the front and 16 x 9.5 on the back. He bought them straight from Japan. I thought he had painted the lip...which was my intention, but thy actually came in all black.

will the 240z bumper fit my 280z?

I have some great ideas so far, I ordered a catalog from motorsport.com but I am having a bit of trouble finding the exact body kit and wheels that I want.
