  1. I have been researching this for quite sometime myself. I think I am just going to go this route

From looking online there have been many cars in the 850-1000whp and 150 mph range with this pump set up on corn.

Price seem right and the options seem nice. And they are dead quiet.. Although your set up is bad ass sunny. And one thing I love about your setup is you can pick up walbro 255s almost anywhere if needed. Burn one up and swing in and pick up another.. But the savings on the AN fittings make this pump a great option! and it has the option to run one of a hobbs switch also.

There is one guy using two with a surge tank making 2200hp on e85 LOL!!

I hope its a wise choice for me... I was going to go Magnafuel but changed my mind

  2. I have had some conversation with him today. If the flares he promised arrive in good fashion I will change my tune and review. My largest concern and problem has been communication issues days and weeks of no contact. And the fact they are 2 months later then promised. I picked his flares because of the quality that they appear to have. I hope that is the case. They were ordered on Jan 18th and paid in full at that time. I was told 2 weeks delivery. Due to a serious conversation today let's just say "legal" they appear to be shipped today. It has been a rough go but if the quality is there then I can let it go.

  3. Cant go wrong with local help! what exactly does EFI do different in order to accommodate no lift shifts?

Pro efi can make it so when you touch the clutch pedal it sets the perfect RPM for the next shift and holds it also can do auto rev matching down shifts. Even has the ability to cut power on high horsepower cars by not firing one cylinder or anti lagging for milliseconds between shifts . It also holds boost between shifts by a combined efforts. Its one of the sickest systems I have seen.

The E85 Features that allow you to use any combination of e85 mix is unreal

  4. I looked into PRO EFI but was not happy with the interface. Holley is much easier to navigate and understand. I do like the Traction control and Flex fuel option built into EFI though.

Flex fuel interface is the main reason I am going with it. Pro efi is based in arizona and I have been to their facility. I cant go wrong when i can drive a 15 miles and have their techs help me out. Also the rolling anti lag and flat foot shifting will be sick

  5. I am going pro EFI they have the ability to do all of the above :)

Also for what its worth avoid justin with Zforce like a hooker with herpes... I paid him on Jan 18th for a set of flares and they never showed up I have been dealing with lies the entire time and going weeks with out communication, I am days away from pressing charges and taking him to small claims court.

  6. I think  you will like working with those standard Chevy mounts.  The JCI kit uses one of those and you can get to the bolts easily to loosen them up.  The JCI kit uses an LS1 "clamshell" mount on the drivers side.  I hate it.  It is hard to get to the bolts to loosen in order to get a little slop in it when dropping the tranny or if just trying to get the bolts lined up.  I like that Hawk's tranny mount better too.  But, with it being weld in, you wanna get that crossmember in the right place on the first time!  I would definitely only spot weld it until you have installed and  pulled the engine a few times to be sure it is right before  you weld it up solidly.  And the clearance bend in the motor mount looks terrible in that photo-it probably looks better from a different angle.  Pros and cons to everything.  We are all super anxious to see how it goes, espcially with the headers.

Here are some better picks of the clearance part of the mount I will say that  it feels super strong the bent part feels to be solid rod stock. IT does look better in person. ONLY BAD NEWS. No headers :( this will be twins :)

I do wish bruce would do a full write up on using this mount but I will do my best to document the install. For future users

  7. The CX racing products are made in CHINA .Please support AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS. Every kittle bit helps. Either HAWKS or JCI . If longtubes are n your future then HAWKS is your best option with the best headers available.

    I purchased the Hawks kit!!!

But with that said  I have to point out the irony of going off on buy American made parts, on a website solely dedicated to the Japanese Z car LOL!!!!!

  8. Somewhat. I have to keep looking at the good progress I've made to get motivated to keep on it though. This car will be on the road by May, mark my words.

I have no doubt!!! I have seen how quickly you work! Like I have said on FB your car is a big motivation for me....  I hope to be at TX2k15  and drag week next year. May just have to make a trip to the next mini cash days..... Two Zs would be cool. Then again that turbo fox moves out.!!!!!!!

  9. LOL I have been planning on the turbo 5.3 for awhile looks like there will be a few of us :P

I may have to change it to a turbo coyote just to be different

However Sunny you know yours will be the only famous one.... you keep hanging out with Mr. Loftis doing them mini cash days. For what its worth I thought you had the beater bomb on that pass. Stupid joey and all that spray
