[Wiring question]

alright, while I was trying to clean up my engine bay,.. I realized that these wires were attached to the wrong ones. The RW wire was attached the red and the red was attached to the RW. My headlights have been working fine, so I feel like I shouldn't switch them. It's bugging the crap outta me. They are even different gauges. Any ideas why they are switched?

 

also they were previously connected with wire nuts which is why i figured it was time to make that a bit less ghetto.

well my fuel tank is a bit rusty,. i change my filter every month or so.

I have an electric fuel pump, pressure regulator set to 4 psi. i don't believe my problem is electrical.

I had no idea there is a filter back by the tank. ill have to check that out,.. maybe replace the pump. I cleaned the jets on the carbs,. no change.

 

i wish i knew what was going on. it really doesn't slow the car down much. it actually runs better when i am on the gas. higher rpms are no problem as long as i am accelerating. but anything id say, under 3500 rpm will misfire. unless im maintaiing a speed.

I'm going to go with the 255/40's on the rear to get a little bit of "stretch" that way i know it clears. im thinking the 275's might look a little to much like truck tires ha.

I have a 280 with a 3.1L stroker and triple mikuni's. It started misfiring about two days ago on my way home from work. When i get into higher rpm's, it will stop missing for a few seconds and start again. to me this sounds like my carbs are way out of sync ,. does anyone else agree? my spark plugs look good, fuel filter is clean, distributor looks great.

so i seem to have stumbled across a set of 350z seats,.... for 175 dollars!!! i am pretty excited about getting rid of my ragged out recaros. the rails for the 350 seats are way to wide for my 280 so i have to completely remove them. I was hoping someone on here has done it before and could show me how they did it.
