I am going to purchase an AO3 Stg-1 transmission from fbperformance but I need some advice concerning the variable stall control. http://www.fbperformance.com/PrintTrans.asp?TransmissionID=86 I have very little knowledge of these transmissions and absolutely no experience with them. I am getting the trans-brake with it also. I have the option of either: 9" Full Race converter - Stall Range: 4000-6000 Max HP: 1000 - Max TQ: 900 8" Full Race - Stall Range: 3500-7000 Max HP: 1000 - Max TQ: 900 I am adding the same modifications as Zgad which are basically a precision 76gts turbo, standalone ems and a fuel system with 1000cc injectors. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick.

  4. Ok thanks guys.I did some more looking around and found out that it has to be drilled and tapped for the oil return like ShaggyZ said. I will let you guys know how it turns out.
  5. Could the 2jzge sump conversion work on the 2jzgte engine? I have been trying to locate a 2jzgte rear sump but I can get the 2jzge rear sump instead. Thanks.
  6. VG30det has already been pulled out and the 2jzgte now sits in the engine bay.We modified the sump to get it to fit but I'm now looking for the rear/middle sump. We hope to run low 10's or if possible dip into the 9's. I will update as there is progress. I am open to any advice you guys may have on the build.Thanks.
  7. Nice work man.We are in the process of swapping a 2jzgte into our 84 zx as well.Started work on it last year but progress is slow.Currently the engine is in the car,that's about it. I will make a thread on it some time soon. Thanks to Z-Gad for all the info on his build.
