  1. I bought these for about $265 + $40 shipping. Tall stalk S30 mirrors with the screws on the ends. Contact seller "gira7777" on e-bay. I ordered mine after losing an auction, the guy has piles of old JDM stuff, he's in Thailand I believe? Bangkok? Anyway, english is a little rough but he was great to deal with and very fair. He seems to come across these parts often and makes trips to Japan to buy more old JDM parts a few times a year.

    Link to seller: http://myworld.ebay.ca/gira7777/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

Will do contact him once i get my refund. Not too happy with the seller making a fool out of me.

  2. The screw is Nissan, no screw like yours looks like Toyota.

There ARE chrome/stainless OE Mirrors for the S30, and they were available in the Nissan Motorsports catalog at one time (they were actually cheaper than the black ones, then mysteriously they started costing more...)

Ordering that P/N will get you stainless/chrome S30 mirrors.

But those, a mix of chromed mirror section and black stalks? Not Nissan.

Thanks sir Tony D for the info. I am starting to get mixed feeling when im looking at the mirrors, then i did some research. And it turns out i havent seen one Z with that kind of mirrors.

  3. Hi guys im from the Philippines i called Rota today and asked them when will RK-R be released. They said its around September or October. Also the only size that is available 15x8.

About the Rota Grid V i asked them if they will produce size 15x8 -13 and 15x9 -19. They are willing to make those sizes but there will be a volume order. Anyone interested? I will call Rota and confirm how many pieces they need for them to make these size. Thanks

  4. I'll be in Manila on the 22nd... UNfortunately my trip to Japan from Manila last month didn't return, I ended up going to China.

What do you want? PM Me with a mobile number, when I hit town I can sms you, I have a Globe local number I use when I'm in Manila. Have some work in Cavite to do, but other than that looks like I will be idle over Thanksgiving so maybe I'll go south and sit on a typhoon hammered beach in Lucena or something. But meeting a Z Guy in Manila would be cool as hell!

I have someone who buys stuff for me, and then I pick it up when I go to Japan. But that's usually 'the last stop'---don't want to deal with customs in Manila Airport for reasons you are probably well aware of! :(

sir tony i cant pm you i think theres something wrong with the site or maybe youre inbox is full. pls email me at afroboy2626@yahoo.com.ph thanks

  5. These guys have gotten some good references.

Not sure if they do much business in the Philippines but check them out and maybe they'll help you out.

i've been exchanging email with that site asking stuff that i want to know because its my first time to these stuff. at first they reply very fast, after a while no more replies thats why im looking for other sites that does yahoo japan auction. and yes they are willing to ship here in the philippines.

  6. In your climate I would go 4 row. It should fit, but your fan will need to be a pusher. (The fan mounts in front of the Rad.)

any recomended brand for the 4 row radiator? i've been searching the net and this forum but can't find any radiator with 4 rows

  7. The only reason I can think why a shop would weld instead of having a kit is because it's a lot easier to weld then do all that R&D to make a kit....Like everyone stated, most likely it's the shop's first time doing this swap and they don't know that kits are available. Being in the Phillipines, I'm assuming not many RBs or Zs over there. Guiding the shop over here would help it greatly lots of info here....LOTS OF INFO

the shop has already swapped a z with an rb20 engine. what they did is something like this http://csgarage.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/dsc02652.jpg

and sir you are definetly right there are only a few z's here which is why it's very hard to find parts :(

  8. i'm using an rb25det engine and would like to know what size and how many rows is the best for the engine, i'll also install an aircon. the shop owner said that i should put a size 25x19x3 radiator with four rows so that i can use a/c is this true?

  9. thanks and sorry for the late reply kinda busy these past few days i'll post some pics if given a free time. bout the engine mounts the shop cut the original engine mount that is holding the original L24 engine they replaced it and welded a new engine mount that will hold the rb25 in place.

  10. the shop that is mounting my 72 240z welded the custom mount in the body of my car(forgot to take a look if the mounts we're also welded in the engine). is this ok? cause i saw RS Speed built and saw the mounts are attached to the engine. i'll post pics by tomorrow

  11. what's the difference between branded aftermarket parts and the unknown one's? example is greddy intake manifold and fastwayracers intake manifold? the price is very much too expensive for the greeddy while the other brand only cost $224.95. i want to buy it but afraid of their performance and quality.

are the quality almost the same with the branded ones? how bout their performance? here's the site http://www.fastwayracer.com/ thanks
