Hey, I have a 1974.5 260z in Charles Town, WV if you're still interested..?

Your going to need the connector ends for the Coil, Distributor. Your going to need a 240sx or a 90's nissan linear TPS Sensor and connecor. Are you using the coolant temp sensor for engine coolant temp?.
Can I find easy replacements for the Coil & Distributor connector ends? I don't want to cut up a harness if those connectors are easy to source. I'm not sure whether I will use the original coolant temp sensor. Why do you ask, and what do you recommend?

I only ask because there are people who need one on here, if I don't need it...

I am switching to an MS2 setup on my L28et. Will I need to use anything from the stock harness or can I just get rid of it? Thanks!

I have a short shifter if you need one... PM me.

Does this only work on the rear? What mods/swaps can I use to equally lower the front if I swap the 240 strut insulators onto the rear?

I have a set of stock 260Z (1974.5) springs that I am replacing with Eibachs if you're interest in them. They're on the car currently so I can send pics of the ride height so you can see that they're still tip-top.

Thank you!

Can anyone tell me the acceptable main bearing clearance for my L28ET build? (F54 block) I have a Chilton Guide and it is definitely mentioned to check that they are correct, but the actual acceptable clearance measurements are not listed. (2nd error/omission that I have found so far...) Anyone help please?

Thanks Mr. Bob! I have the Chilton Guide, but the diagram (3-77 Fig. 202) is a misprint... It doesn't have the identification markings as its label says it should! I figured it would be the same arrangement as 84-88 model, but wanted to check here to be sure! Thanks!

Question..
I got my new over bore (+.040 ITM) pistons and I was dropping them off at the machine shop to have them connected to the rods... The machine shop owner wasn't sure about the piston/rod orientation. The rods have oil squirters on one side and the pistons are also marked on one side. Anyone know which way these line up? Pictures attached:
Thanks in advance!

This what I figured. I'm getting the engine balanced and am currently driving the car... So I'll have to pull the current flex plate if the 83 turbo plate won't bolt in to the 74 transmission is all... tranny drop, here I come.
-
Basically I am wondering if the flex plates/torque convertors are the same between a 1983 zx turbo and my 1974 260z. Help please!

I am currently working out a L28ET swap into my current 1974 260z w/ automatic transmission. I have noticed that the automatic transmission itself is listed as fitting 1972-1983. Can I bolt my L28ET to my existing transmission or is there something else that I am missing or need to be aware of? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
