From 1978 to present I have owned one 1200, seven 510's and three  240 Z's. This is Z number two, a 1973 unit, HLS 30150666. If it looks like it was painted by a blind person with a paint roller, well, it was! A retinal disease has rendered me legally blind which is funny only because I love building cars and photography. I have on this car for 33 years and it has never been driven since I bought it. Long-term project? You bet! Why? Because I can! Goal?

To set a land speed record at Bonneville salt Flats as a legally blind builder/driver. Grand Touring, under 3 liter.

I stopped driving eight or 10 years ago mostly as a public service to others but if you take away the traffic, corners and stop signs, the only thing left is straight. the one thing I can do is follow a black stripe on a white background. The only obstacle in my way now is the requirement of a valid drivers license to drive a off-highway vehicle… off of the highway. Go figure. It turns out that the Bureau of land management or BLM is the entity behind that nonsense, not SCT A or USSR A. Hopefully I can get some exposure/support here to change the rulebook.
