  2. Let me clarify for you guys real quick. The cost of the conversion is 450 if you buy one of our swap kits, 550 if you don't so if you have a 240-280Z it will be 550 until we release our kit for the older Zs. In all reality I could charge 800+ for the work I provide as I completely rebuild the harness to brand new specs with new OEM connectors and wiring so the harness will out live the car. I also go the through the entire harness checking each and every wire and connector for damage or fatigue. I then rewrap the entire harness in convoluted tubing and then retape the entire harness so its sealed from oil and other contaminates. I include the necessary relays and safety devices for free, no one else does this or includes safety devices for that mater. I only charge for the cost of the OEM connectors/wiring leads and no labor charge* (only exception would be a harness that is severly cut and/or damaged beyond resonable use) And unlike many other places I am ASE certified and have been working in automotive wiring for many years. I now have come public with my work within the last two years. You can do your research but I am the only professional in the world that does these harness spefically for these swaps. I have done over 250+ thus far with an average of 2 a week. I can build a JZ harness for any vehicle you can fit the JZ into. I also do RB, SR/CA harness's as well.

  4. Thank you Shaggyz, it is true respect is hard earned, and easily lost. I just wanted everyone to know what had cause him to loose faith in us, but I could have pursued another route. I do feel bad for those who had poorly made harness's, and the problem is they are still being made to this day, thankfully just not by us. I promise you fellow Hybrid Z members, things are better here at Tech2 and 2JZswap.com, I'm not forcing anyone to change their minds about us, I just want everyone to know, they all business do make mistakes, and only the good ones fix them and try to constantly improve their practices. My sound belief is to improve everything I touch.
  5. Yes I know this, as I stated before Dr. Tweak (now with Phoenix Tuning) did the harness's for Tech2. They say the problem and corrected it, they stopped having hem make or touch any harness's and this is where I came in. Yes we have made improvements on our products especially in the harness department, there is a night and day difference in the quality of the harness's compared to who we used to use. As for the kits you are referring too, a swap kit? or the harness's? The only change we have made with our kits is going from 1500* paint to powder coating them. We still use 10ga mild steel that is laser cut and MIG welded. The Driveshaft is 100% brand new and nothing nothing reused. I agree with you on how crappy the harness work was before, this was a major problem with our kits. I have come to this business with my professional expertise and now our harness's are 2nd to none, we still are cheaper than anyone else and all extra safety precautions and devices (fuel safety shutoff device $50, diodes, relays etc) are included with every harness for free. I only charge my cost for parts that have to be replaced and never a labor charge for replacing connectors/wiring. Again as I stated very early on in this post, I'm sorry for anyone who had a bad harness from us, We have corrected that mistake of using another person. I only pursued you to find out what we had done or are doing wrong, this is the company I work for and I strive make everything we do top notch and professional.   6. But again, you give no form of evidence, no situations and no grounds for your argument. If you are informing your fellow Hybrid Z members, then do so, I'm a Hybrid Z member, I have a 260Z in the process of a 1JZ swap. I am not trying to be biased, I just want you to do what you say you are tying to do, inform us Z members and give facts, evidence and/or statements that can actually say hey this is why I had a bad dealing. Not just hey they suck don't use them use someone else that doesn't specialize in JZs and hasn't been to SEMA ever.... nor are they published world wide. I'm not trying to start a flame war here. As a fellow Cali brother and car modifier I just want some kind of proof or story that can help me and our other members know where you are coming from. As I stated before if there is anything I can do to help rectify your situation or try to understand what you felt was done wrong to you, I will do my best to help fix the situation.   7. I'm sorry to hear about your dealings, obviously you haven't talked with me at the shop, I handle all their technical questions and do the wiring in house for them. Our kits are NOT comparable with EGAY, first everything is laser cut and flush welded, then we have each part powder coated for a long lasting part. All are kits are made with 10ga mild steel, you will not find this quality on Ebay. Everything is a direct bolt up and all parts are brand new nothing is reused, with the exception of the 240 cross members. We modify the mount locations with new 10ga mild steel for ideal fitment. What is your name and what business did you do with us? You give no examples and honestly I don't see any real information to backup your claims. Drew works for Lexus marketing and is only in the shop a couple of days a month. Carlos and I handle customer service calls. I find it odd you are the only one on here complaining. To me it seems you are promoting the company you have linked. If there is anything I can help you with to get your situation sorted out, please let me know. Andrew and Chrissy are not the only people working at Tech2 and obviously you don't know everyone one here. If our products were so bad, why are we published world wide about our cars and swaps in international magazines? And are our newest swap'd car is a feature vehicle for Enkei, at their booth for SEMA this year???? So please don't go and blast us with uninformative and fruitless claims that we are in to just get a buck, if you need a long list of detailed and informative posts of our dealings with people and what our customer serived is, I will be more than happy to fill your inbox.

  9. Hi this is Sean from 2jzswap.com, did you get your harness done before the end of December 2007? I didn't start doing harnesses for 2jzswap.com in the end of December 2007. Dr. Tweak was doing them prior, he now works for Phoenix Tuning. I appologize for your harnesses troubles and if I was around when yours was done I would have fixed it at no extra cost. All my harness are gone through completely and all plugs even if they are not broken but damaged are replaced with new OEM connectors from Toyota. All wiring is inspected and replaced with OEM Toyota wiring. I volt test and ohm test (where applicable) all wires to ensure you will have a trouble free install. Then I wrap the entire harness with new conveluted tubing and re-wrapped in e-tape from begining to end. So if your harness was not like this, I appologize, We here at 2jzswap.com take pride in our workmanship and have made changes here to improve on our products.
