Ahh thanks Davy, I did some searches for "clearance" "dragging" but didn't come up with that thread even though I remembered seeing it. And it's good to be home =). -polarity

I talked to 80LT1 for abit and he helped me out in getting the right speedo. Ordered an Autometer Phantom electric speedo, arrived today. He explained a little about putting the speedo in chain between VSS and computer, I should be able to give install a try tomorrow night. Thanks for the help folks -polarity

How do those 2 work together, been looking for any kind of write up on the ding-near-perfect but I cant seem to find anything. -polarity

Anyone else having ground clearance issues. I have a 280ZX with LT1, going into my garage is about a 4" incline, the car bottoms out every time. This is a slope too, not like a 4" curb. Running stock rims and some old tires, maybe they just need to be replaced. Any input would be appreciated. -polarity

Literally all over the car, the hood, roof, and tops of the fenders mostly. Some small dings in the doors aswell. -polarity

Hey guys, working on a 280ZX that has some hail damage, I've never done body work but the whole idea of the car is to learn. All the damage on the car is the same, about 1" in diameter and less than 1/10th of an inch deep. If anyone could give me the basics or maybe provide a link or two for some good reading I would appreciate it. So you know my end goal is to do as much of the prep for paint as possible by myself. Hey guys, I've been reading for a couple hours about speedo installs. I've just purchased this car http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=137404 With the swap more or less complete. I am about to order the swap manual so I can get more info on what all was done. First order of business is to get the speedo working, anyone got a link with some details about the install. I've used the search and read many arguments about which type works best, but nothing about the actual install. -polarity *would help if I posted in the right section of the forum, can a mod move this for me?

Has anyone done any custom work in the back hatch. Like fiberglass sub boxes mounted in the back corners? Would love to see some pictures, or get tips from anyone who has done custom fiberglass work.. -polarity
