  1. well im not really capable of getting another z31 manual trans. Besides i would still have to fabricate things for the z31 trans because its too short for the 2+2 so i may as well upgrade. I now know the z32 starter is necessary. But what i really need to know is if i can bolt the z32 trans up to the bell housing and have it work. i probably need the z32 clutch and flywheel also but thats expected. So what im really asking is what is necessary to make it work?
  2. So i have a 87 NA that i would like to make into a turbo sometime over the next summer. I am currently working on acquiring parts. I know what some of the parts are that i need and I'm wondering if someone else could give me a more thorough list and maybe places to get these parts. turbo crossmember turbo(duh) t25? or T3? turbo exhaust turbo ECU? going to spring for an inter cooler set up even though they didn't come with one. Help would be muchappreciated cause I'm no real mechanic i just mess around and read books Keith
  3. So I have a 87 NA 2+2 auto. The trans is a piece. so what I'm wondering is if the 90-96 vg30de trans will fit into the car without major mods. I am aware that a custom drive shaft will be necessary for any trans swap, damn 2+2's. If the DE wont work whats my best bet on a Trans that will work? Thanks
  4. Will there be a lot of custom work necessary in order to get the VG30DETT into my 87 300zx, or would the Naturally Aspirated motor fit much better? If the 90-96 motor wont go into my 87 300zx without a lot of custom work what would those modifications be, in a general list??? I repost this because i keep getting answers in the wrong forums that aren't detailed enough. Thanks
