  1. looks good.been trying to contact mckinney motorsports to get one of their rb26dett fitting kits but they dont seem to be answering my e-mails.
  2. guys, just a quick question, i'm planning on a rb26dett swap on my 73 240z and the r32 front clip came with the complete rear axle, is there anything i can use from the r32 gtr rear other than the brakes?will the LSD diff on the r32 axle fit my car?or should i go for the diff from a 300zx tt?i've been through a few threads here but havent seem to get a firm answer on wht works best.really need some advice here.
  3. i'd like to know too on how well this kit works as i am planning on buying a set from them but if it means welding and all that then i might consider.if u do get info on these kits pls do share...
  4. thanks guys for all the support, its nice to know that this is a REAL forum with guys like urselves that give honest and practical opinions.i seriously appreciate all your advice.looks like i will trying to get my hands on a 240z and i'll skip the 2+2 260z till i find a proper 240z..
  5. would a 2+2 260z be a good choice ?its almost impossible to get a 2 seater 240/260/280z here so it might be the olny chance i have at getting a zed.whts are the pros and cons of a 2+2 compared to a 2 seater zed?
  6. http://www.drift.com.my/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25607 well this are some pics of the zed that i am plannin on gettin, any comments guys? i've always loved ol skool datsuns , having owned a datto 510 and a 160j with fj20e in it, drivin ol skool really makes it totally different when u have the speed to go up against the newer cars. thing is, would a rb26dett 260z be too much of a project that would take up too long a time to complete?i'm not really worried about engine works just wanna know the complexity of having a rb26dett in a zed..and, how does a rb26dett 260z handle?can it be up to par with newer cars?its mitsu evo country here where i stay so keeping a zed would mean lots of competition from the evo guys. sorry for all the question guys but i really want to know b4 i go on buyin this zed off this guy.
  7. guys, i'm planning on buying a 260z instead of a s15 , this is mainly due to me wanting something very special that i can keep through the years..but i'm still undecided on this cos i am really curious if getting a rb26dett in a 260z is an easy job. also , to you guys , which would make a bigger and better platform for performance, a s15 or a zed?
