  1. Thanks Gavin! THe Car is Running and it stays On and Idles. I want to see If anyone has a MSQ I can use as a starting point. Im running MS-II PCBv3 My set up is Stock L28et with P90 head and N42 manifold -T3/T4 hybrid turbo -MSD 2225 electric fuel pump -upgraded fuel rail -240sx TB -Arizona Z TB spacer -CX racing FMIC -3 inch exhaust -Stock distributor with Z31 module -injectors are 450cc at 38psi, 480cc at 43.5psi (3bar)or 500cc at 47psi I have some files from the map sharing post or other old post (like metro's, raven's and ninner's)but dont know which one I can use I was going to use ninner's but his running MSD 6al which might be the only difference. any help would be appreciated, Its about time to get my Z running and driving.   2. When ajusting the Distributor do I turn it BAck and fort? I got the car fired up but It was smoking pretty bad and it didnt want to Idle by it self.
  3. Hey guy just wondering If any one can clear up some questions I have regaurds Megasquirt in stall. Im trying to set timing according to write-up by 'mobythevan' He says to set number 1 cylinder to TDC then turn it back about 50 degrees BTDC which I've done. Then he says to "Loosen the distributor and turn it by hand with the MSnS powered up. Turn the distributor until you see the middle LED come on. When this lights up stop and tighten the distributor back down." I'm a bit confuse by this does he mean to loosen or remove the screw that holds the diz? And do I have to turn it clock wise or counter clock wise? and do I have to do full turns or just back and fort? I turned my diz by hand and at some point my fuel pump kicked on real quick and my coil sparked it did it a few times while I was turning the diz. but no LED stayed lid on my MS. Im running MS2 and the lates firmware and im using TunerStudio. THanks, Manny
  4. Can any one help Im having trouble wiring the z31T coil and ignitor(transistor) on to my 70 240z with L28et. any guidens would be truely appreciated! Thanks
  5. Im curently working on the Z31 turbo ecu swap on my 70 240z with L28ET but ive run into a little stal. Im wondering what i should do for the ignition control module do i still need it and how do I need to wire it? or can I upgrade to the Z31 set up or buy something like MSD? The original module is wired with the yellow/white and the black/white but the post that im using for the ecu swap says to Insert new pin into slot 34 of ECU connector then connect it to a new wire going to the + coil terminal and Insert new pin into slot 3 of ECU connector then connect to a new wire going to the – terminal of your coil. If i do this do I still need the module? Thanks
  6. I have a trouble with my afm evrytime I plug it up the car wont start but if i disconected it will start? Some one mentioned that my afm is the wrong one. Are the afm different from a n/a and a turbo 280zx? thanks
  7. Well I was told its from a 82. I got A quick FI and ignition 280zxt to S30 turbo swap guide from the forums but I guess they use a 81 harness and the ignition plug is a 6 pin and the one I have is 8. I'm trying to figure out where the yellow wire from the ignitor plugs in to the harness? As long as I have a 12v switch and the yellow wire to the ecu, should the ignitor work?
  8. I finally drop in the L28ET in to the 240z the Motor cranks but I hit a brick wall I tryed pluging up the harness and ecu but i ran out of knowledge. so here it go's, How do I wire the Coil pack to get spark? How do I get power to the ECU? And Last How do I know witch plugs I dont need?

Hello everyone, I recently got a 280zx turbo motor (L28ET) its out of an 81 280zx however Im using a 82 harness and ECU I was told I also have to change the Distributor to complete my convertion of an 81 to 82? So im a little lost on what exactly i need to do so any guidens will be helpfull. tks
