hey just got it back from the shop today turns out two of the fuel injectors werent working so they replaced them all in all after the different diagnostics parts and labor it cost me $270 could be more for you at a different shop i knew the mechanic and he really cut me a deal on the labor hope this helps also how he knew which fuel injectors werent working for you do it your selfers this is just the summary he gave me could be more but if you know what your doing this may make since to you and if not get you on the right road he checked the power to the injectors 2 cylinders werent firing properly so he swithced them with differnet injectrs the ones that were missing before started right and the onces he switched with those cylinders started missing fairly easy if you know what your doing mut i myself have no idea what i doing when it comes to fuel injection lol will be selling my car for around 1800 if any one interestd im in southwest missouri email me if you want mor details

well i just decided to stop effing with it and take it into the shop and have them handle it i will have them fix it and tell you what the deal was or at least tell me and i will fix it myself after they pin point the problem after this i plan on selling the car on craigslist and posting it on here as well

hey all i have had my 280zx for a couple months now and all of a suddin i have had problems with the fuel.(im guessing) turns on and idles fine but once i get in gear and take off its hard to get it to 2000rpm. checked the fuel pump pressure its as it should be replaced fuel filter and also replaced fuel pressure regulator but still no progress. when i tap on the fuel rail it chippers up and runs fine and dandy or a short period of time then fall on its face again the only thing i can think of is a new fuel rail (just because of the tapping and it running back to normal) unless some one has had this problem and knows whats going on i really need help guys thanks Phil

hey all im wanting to put a turbo on my 1983 280zx but dont exactly know where to start.i see people saying they are cheap but the only ones i have found have been $2,000 plus and on my budget thats not cheap lolso where can i buy a turbo any websites to go off of? thanksalso i could buy a whole new turbo motor out af a 1986 300zx for $400 so thats an alternitive just wanting to see what would be cheaper thanks Phil

did you do anything to the interior if so where did you order your pieces? (like trim pieces)

i just bought my 280zx sunday and has nice new carpet but some of the plastic pieces are warped and discolored. so i refered to my black dragon automotive booklet and found i could replace every piece for 439.95...umm not for me because all i really need is 4 pieces the passenger side wheel house trim, spare tire cover, rear panel finisher, and the rear body side trim with the little glove box type thing so anyone know of a website to order these i have searched so many websites it is ridiculous so anyone know of one where i can order these 4 parts by themselves? thanks Phil also its a red interior 2seater 280zx if that makes a difference

is there a website to order an interior kit or just individual pieces all i really need is all the plastic pieces from the seat back i have a white 1983 datsun 280zx with red interior and i really need to replace the interior it looks horrible right now please list the website i keep running into forums
