Last time out to the 1/4 track we got warned about not making any runs under 11.5 without a cage, I want my Z to drive mainly on the streets, My brother likes racing and I it once in a while too so I had to do this even though I was not fully convinced...I told the fabricator to keep off as many tubing as possible but make it good to go 10 flat, wich I hear is the limit without a license anyways..So he said I would be certified with a 5 point and I aproved...Still need to get certified though.. I am very happy with the results.I think its a clean job.. The same guy working on Darius Z did the fabrication, I got to see the Legendary V8 240Z.....Nice Car!!! Here is one I remember from like 5 years back. I woke up and told my girlfriend, I had dreamed of me getting to work @ like 9:20 or 9:40 wich is late, I go in @ 9am.She said well take off earlie wich I did. Got on the freeway and it was fine till like half ways.I had the dream in my mind and kept thinking about it.When I arrived @ work it was exatly the time I seen in my dream. Another one was were I dreamed lots of numbers wich were suppost to be the loto's, I woke up and remembered them but I don't like playing loto so I don't know how those turned out. This is not a dream but its something that I look back and can't believe up to date.It was in the earlie 90's... I had a feeling of looking for something, I told like 4 or 5 friends to go look for gold and they followed me...It was raining that day, I was guiding them towards a high school with a creek most of them were infront of me...We were halfway when I see something shine, a drop of water hit the spot, I saw it shine and there was no sun out.......So I told them to get back and I dig lots of jewlery out...

Nice pics, I would of liked to get one of those hoodies too... I did not plan on doing any work to the Z before going to to the show and now its getting a 5 pt roll cage, Hopefully its out in a week though...I wanted to drive it there last year too.... Hopefully I will see some of you guys there!!!

Congrats, Those numbers seem fair for a LS1 engine. I have seen a few pull close to your numbers with the few mods you have. I too have a tirespin problem with my 225/45/17 tires, Only above 1/4 of throttle. I find it amazing how wasy it is to drive even under the rain if you drive it normal. I'm currently working on getting a different wheel/tire package, I want to go with some 17 x 8 or 8.5 wheels with a 245 dragradials.

Hey Joy, The Z is clutchless at least to race it wont hold. I am going with the festiva soon,I just finished a big brake upgrade from a 1995 for aspire..We want to take it to the track before it gets the turbo upgrade...

you guy's can alway's buy an ls2 add a small cam and turn in some 10's....

It was a nice one! I thought I wasnt going to take my Z out on winter, I have around 4k after the swap.I went for a nice 1 1/2 drive windows down yesterday...

No Z's,There was one @ the newark location but it didn't have any good parts.

I thought I read it was lsd,Anywas the car is still in one piece and I read that the diff is a wanted item.

I know this cars carrie a rare lsd rear end and its still there,Also the engine is complete.... This is in commercial pick and pull....

I have a 3 1/2 inch on my LS2 swap,Its kind of a stright pipe..I think im starting to go deaph..I will add a sort of silencer to keep the noise down..

I have only added a small cam, futural f11.Im happy with the results,I won't take much to get her in the 10's... My stock clutch is now bad,after like 6 1/4 miles passes and less than 4k miles on the swap.....So espect to change it soon after going to the track.... If you have not ordered jci's kit make sure you tell them to give you the correct transmission cross member,I have been reading of guys complaining on getting the one for the 280Z wich will not work on your 240Z.Jci is making buyers pay for the shipping and I know what shipping charges are out of the USA.

Well I did not do my conversion,Mike (MAS280) is the one.you might want to try and send him a pm. The camaro mount is a stock one. The drive by wire,you need the gas pedal and I belive there is only 4 wires going to the ecu.the tuner will take care of this.Talk to who ever is tuning your car and asked him wich is best for him d b w or cable,I'm sure he's going to say cable.Everyone told us to go with cable too....I sold my throttle body and had to buy again,I only lost about 25 dollars.
