Ok, so some Philistine cut off my hood latch support bracket. Anybody have one or maybe a better idea than cutting through a nice hood to put (gag) hood pins?

No. The issue is the shifted crossmember. What someone did, during their v8 conversion, was to cut the crossmember and shift it to the left to allow clearance for the steering shaft. They didn't, however, realize that this would affect lock to lock steering. I will have to shorten the left hand tie rod to compensate. -

Correction...I meant to say left hand exhaust, involving the steering shaft. It looks like they cut it and slid it over about an inch and a half. This car has never been hit. No frame damage. Has the koni/Eibach 2" drop coils and struts on all four corners. I'm a 510 guy normally, so this Z isn't a stretch for me. -

They shifted it to clear the left hand motor mount. The rack mounts were not moved. Frack. -

I am not sure. Do you think it's possible to pick up a tie rod end that fits into the spindle that would be similar to a race car style, adjustable a bit more? -

The rack has been shifted left. I get full lock left (of course) but partial lock right. Just sucks. -

If you look to the left of the steering rack boot you'll see the modified area. -

Well it's not quite right. With 2.39 on either side it's way off center. I tried adjusting it out but the left hand tie rod is bottomed out. After further research, I've noticed that the crossmember has been modified. Looks extended on the right hand side and the front suspension has two pieces of half inch by two plate between it and the unibody mounting points. Uggg -

No this issue was there prior. I noticed it wasn't at full lock right and then investigated from there.
