This is 2nd z I've had. in 80's had 76 280.

Bought orange 71 240 z in august 08, 104000 miles. Had running for about 30 minutes summer 09. Car has sat inside for 10 years. Hope to drive this summer 2010. 2010 running, have put on 3000 miles as of 12/10/16.
Replaced all hoses.
Changed all fluids. Had radiator rebuilt, don't do this, buy new.
New master cylinder, clutch cylinder, slave cylinder, rebuilt wheel cylinders, added rebuilt calipers, replaced flexible brake lines.
Had tank redone, coated inside and out.
Wires, plugs, cap. Flame Thrower coil and Pertronics ignition.
Z Therapy carbs, MSA ceramic header.

KYB shocks, replaced bushings with urethane, sand blast and paint suspension components, silver.

Cut front springs  1 1/2 coil to level ride height.

Still to do:

Car runs great, although need to upgrade alternator, as under hard acceleration misses with lights on.

heater fan not working, thinking fan speed switch, still to check out. Redo seats.
