Iam trying to set up my cam timing to run the best , i have been told to install a cam timing sprocket , kameari has a very nice one . i have a L20B with a ported and polished U67 head , large valves , 480 lift 292 comp cam ,high comp domed pistons , fully balanced motor ,44mm mikuni carbs ,6a box , mallory mech advance dist. and a bunch of nismo HP stuff . i am hoping someone out there can help me with some info . do i need a cam timing sprocket ? fully adjustable or just the 8 hole sprocket ? if anyone can advise me i would appreciate it

i would have loved to see more gtos at knotts , i showed 3 of my cars and 2 other gtos showed up , and we lined them up it was great , i hope to see alot there next year , scorpionzcars is hoping to be having about 8 cars there if all goes as planned . also my new fully framed and lengthened gtz will be there.

this kit looks the same as a rhino, all of the features are the same as the rhino , it also looks like my scorpion (basic body) kit, but it is not mine,this looks to be a good start for someone , all the best to who gets it . contact me if i can help with any parts. tom @ http://www.scorpionzcars.com

many thanks to all of you for your compliments,the cusomer put the ferrari decals on the car ,scorpionzcars has its own decals that many have stated looks better than the ferrari ones ,i even have billet scorpion badges for inside the front grill, and billet front nose emblems, i do not build ferrari kitcars i custom build scorpion GTZs my personal GTZ is being built now ,it has in it a 450 + hp 350 chevy,t-5 trans,8 3/4 narrowed mopar posi rearend ,100% custom built end to end frame and full rollcage,4 1/2 inch front nose extention,corvette rotors and calipers,custom billet hubs ,i will try to post some photos soon to get feedback from all of you till then take care all ps don't forget " STOP" means " Spin Tires On Pavement " so smoke those tires till they can't see you leave

i would have to agree with speedracer on this issue,i have in all my research on the gtos never seen a photo or any kind of front or rear airdam or spoiler on any gtos .if you find a photo please post it ,or if you find out any info please let us know where to find it.

hey guys if anyone needs a custom gto dash contact me,i'll build it for you ,i built the dash and gauge cluster assembly for scotts gto (member name 250gto)you can also look at my site http://www.scorpionzcars.com and you'll see the gto dash that i built for the silver/red gtz and black gtz which have the 3 defrost vent tubes through the center of the dash ,the defrost tubes worked perfectly this way and it looked original. sorry guys i'm not as good with computers as i'am with my cars so if anyone wants to post the dash photos feel free to as i don't know how to,SORRY still learning about computers. i'am building another more modern version gto dash and i will be offering them towards the beginning of feb. 2004 they will be the same cost as the gto dash ,my dashes are one part ,not two or three parts that the customer needs to fiberglass together. i will be adding more photos and items to my web site shortly,sorry it takes a while . and i would love to hear any feedback on what you all think of my gtz and gto cars. thanks everyone tom @ scorpionzcars

take your time and paint it yourself,both of those paint shops you mentioned SUCK the quality of their paint is CRAP and they don't sand the cars they scuff them, you will regret having them paint your car.practice painting on something else ,lots of people can paint ,take your time don't rush the job. all the best to you ,show us photos when your done.

i love people who create their own cars,you did an incredible job on your z,show us more photos when you have them ,i hope to view your ride at a show some day.

thank you for the compliment on my black gtz,that black gtz now belongs to my good friend DAVID SHARP in calif. the photo was from the knotts berry farm show where it got a wonderful trophy.this gtz is a one off car that i built and is now appraised at over $55,000,this car started as a rhino gt from SIMPSON DESIGN,the front nose is a rhino ,the back was custom built by myself,with some help only on some specific items,i call this car a GTZ ,i will be selling the kits for this car,also the kits for the gto body too.as was just stated in KITCAR BUILDER MAGAZINE "scorpionzcars took over where rhino left off" sorry but another company purchased the tooling from SIMPSON DESIGN ,i have also purchased my own set of tooling for the gto and have built my own gtz tooling . anyone interested in contacting me please look at my site (still under construction) http://www.scorpionzcars.com all the best to all of you zcar and hybridz enthusiast and to those of us who help build them. tom @ scorpionzcars
