  1. I regret to inform all of you that I've sold this car. time for me to move on to something else
  2. fireballs anyone?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tit2q4vToBQ
  3. never really kept track of my hours working on the car. but it's been over a period of maybe a year since pulling the stock motor to the point its at now.
  4. the exhaust is 2.25" true dual pipes, no crossover, into pypes m-80 mufflers. they're essentially glasspacks. rear exit as of now looks like this the cam is from comp cams summit racing part #cca-08-422-8 grind# CS XR270HR-10 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-08-422-8/ I am extremely happy with my current combination, but things may change in the future.
  5. Yes, stock radiator. It is a brand new replacement, and with the electric fan it has been performing flawlessly. The car doesn't go above 180*
  6. this cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-08-422-8/ with world products sportsman II cylinder heads an edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake manifold, and a holley 600cfm carb produced ~335hp and 384trq for me on a beat up stock '97 350 that had about 170k miles on it. that was without replacing bearings.
  7. also, in the coming months I will be pulling the engine/trans back out to redo the engine bay. I'm going to clean it all up and paint the bay to match the exterior.
  8. thanks guys. I'm not really sure what kind of power I'm making anymore. last winter the motor I had built made 335hp and 384 ft lbs of torque, at the crank. that block was 170k miles old and worn out. this spring a rod let go and I put all my parts in a new block and replaced all of the bearings. I'd like to think that I'm making more power now because the motor is nice and tight. as far as power at the wheels, I have no idea. I'll have to put the car on a dyno in the coming spring/summer
  9. here we go, just a video I took while cruising around in the car in the final days we have left before the snow starts falling in western ny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsaxTVslHaI
  10. I went with the t-56 in my build. I like it a lot, I'm only making about 330hp but about 385trq. the only issue with using a stock t56 setup is that to use an lt1 flywheel your motor must have a 1 piece rear main seal. I spent less than $2k on my trans install, and was able to reuse the driveshaft that I had built for my 700r4.
  11. I don't think theyre the same, but I've got a set on the way already. thanks.
  12. haven't heard back from you yet, I kind of need this asap so I can drive the car
  13. will $85 shipped to 14059 work for you?
  14. I blew out a u joint in my driver side rear axle, the yokes are destroyed, so I'm looking for a replacement. otherwise I'll have to have one built. please let me know if you have anything for me. car is a '77 with a manual trans.
  15. it's just a factory replacement balancer. not really sure what size it is.
