Hey guys, For those out their swapping LSx's into the Z32 300zx chassis, I wanted to share some interesting news regarding oil pan options. According to Sikky Manufacturing, they are in process of launching a Z32 / LS1 mount kit very similar to their popular S13/14 kit shown here: I received this information in response to an email I sent to tech@sikky.com - they stated the kit should be completed in a couple of months!

The Sikky kit is sweet. I emailed them to see if it was adaptable to the Z32. Did you happen to take measurements before your swap? I would be interested to know the relationship between the s13/14 and z32 subframe locations. KC

Hello everyone, I am a new member to this forum and starting a new project this spring/summer. I recently picked up a single-owner 1990 NA z32 and am planning on an LS1/t56 swap. From my research so far, it seems as though the main sticking points lie within the firewall/tranny tunnel, oil pan, engine location, custom motor mounts and wiring harness; however, I have read mixed reviews on everything I just mentioned. Can anyone out there (that has experience with this swap) help me put together a grocery list of what I will need to begin, what I will need to fabricate, and what challenges I will need to overcome? Hey Lowdedz, I am doing a similar swap this spring, just picked up a 1990 NA z32. Any tips on the tranny installation? I have read the t56 bell housing leads to some fab work inside the tunnel. Also, any tips on the motor mounts and oil pan? Any help is greatly appreciated! Nice car! Kiel
