I already talked to the seller of that 280zx. I think it's a good deal..it's just that I like the styling of 1st generation Z better.

easier just to toss in the drivetrain? even with the transmission and everything? alright i guess i will consider buying one that's not running.

Is it easier to work on the body or the engine? I do see some 240z on the craigslist but they are usually not running.

it's about US$1300 I find the rear back bumper sketchy as well...don't know what he was trying to do. the car is running well. it's just that ugly body surface that's holding me back...

I found one locally. not the cheapest one but the owner claimed he had engine rebuilt done by professional. new manifold and new suspension, muffler, batteries and alternator. I know nothing about z and from his pictures, it looks like he was doing some exterior body mods. any modders want to chime on this? what was he trying to achieve? the car's not painted. it looks like it needs some bodywork should I go for it? thanks for your time!
