  1. Sorry, to clarify I’m asking about the additional u shaped isolator brackets shown in the pictures (facing opposite directions). I assume one of the pictures is correct and the other incorrect?? I don’t think the early models had these but they were on my 280z and I forget which direction they were flipped.
  2. Help! What is the factory correct orientation of these engine mount isolator things. The pics in the FSM are also hard to judge. Thanks!!
  3. How are you guys mounting the dual fuel lines to the frame rails…assuming your rubber isolators are shot like in my 280z? Butterflying P clamps in the old bracket fastener location seems like one fuel line will sit too low? Any suggestions? Thanks
  4. Is it possible to remove the fuel hard lines in a 280Z without removing the rear end? Have my engine bay completely empty and ready for paint except for my fuel lines that run the length of the body (just annoyingly hanging down). I’d like to remove, polish, and reinstall them but can’t figure out if I can weave them out of the back without damaging them after I disconnect from the fuel pump/tank side. Also don’t really want to remove all the rear end suspension, etc.
  5. This may be a dumb question, but should I lubricate (oil, wd40, etc) my 280z clutch while I store it for a couple months, to prevent rusting? Directly on the clutch plates and other parts? …to clarify it is off the engine and sitting on a shelf
  6. Is the front hood seal that is attached to the top of the radiator support really needed? From pictures it looks like many have cutoff this sheet metal flange /seal. I’m adding an intercooler to my setup and looks like the nice upper intercooler support brackets (like from GRW) mount flush with to top of the radiator support. If I cut mine off what are the negative affects…just maybe some more rain getting thru? Thanks!!
  7. Hey Aero Z just want to thank u for the writeup. Same method worked great for me on set of 370 seats I got a deal on. Im not the best welder so managed to do a bolt on install. Some pics included of that as well as the trim line I had to do on the plastic.
