How do I do the electrical test on the afm sorry I'm a noob

Oh yeah and the starter was bad so i replaced that and then when i was running it down the street i couldnt get the secondarys to come in so i replaced the wires and plugs and rotor still loss of power but much better

Hey stupid question I live in cali and out Smog is dumb do they have one that is California emission rated or does it matter..sorry for my lack of knowledge in this ....was a bike guy

I have an 83 280zx 5 speed and i installed a new ignition after the old one froze and now all it does is click and i recharged the battery thinking it was dead an still nothing the car turned over 2 years ago with the OEM ignition not this one tho i have read all thr forms and still need help please

so i have and 83 280zx 5 speed and i replaced the ignition with an after market one <forget what its called> i charged the battery and i go to turn the car over and all it does is click and nothing...my dad gave me this car before he died all i wanna do is rebuild it to its former glory and i am a weekend warrior so i only have weekends to work on it i have looked thru all the forms still cant figure it out.....also it fired off about 2 years ago then the Original ignition froze
