Hi all. I'm based in the UK and looking to do this swap. I've read here it's best to buy a donor 350z but finding a whole car that's breaking is difficult as they were only produced for two years. And I certainly wouldn't want to buy one in good/usable position and tear it apart. So I'm looking at stand alone engines and gearboxes for sale. As long as I find a CD009 that fits the particular HR engine, what issues would I face with the build? Is the loom/engine management going to be an issue? For anyone who has done the conversion, does the height of the engine or the gearbox protruding below the frame rails/lowest part of the car cause any issues? (I do want to lower the car but not to a stupid level).
Any general advice for this build would be gratefully received.
