I am envious. Sorry if I missed it, but what was your background? I like the idea of building a z myself(I romanticize the idea all the time), but I don't have experience and tend to feel overwhelmed when tackling bigger projects. I am looking at a 73 complete that runs and drives( runs okay, needs some tuning on the carbs) and it comes with a parts car(also a 73). They need body work. The owner is asking 5k for both. I really want to hop in after reading your thread.
