  1. Welcome onboard!!!! I redid my 80 280ZX 6 months ago and here are some of the places I used. NO.1 was e-bay. Enter NISSAN 280ZX in cars and trucks, parts and accessories, and you will find used and new interior or exterior panels, emblems, dashs ,ect. Some parts, not the right color or faded, can be dyed. NO.2 junk yards. NO.3 local newspaper under cars being parted out. NO.4 Tow companies that pick up cars for law enforcement agencies. NO.5 All Z forums that have a buy and sell section. Hope this helps and one word of advice. If you are doing the complete redo of the interior, pay attention to the order of the removal of the trim pieces, what you take off first is what goes back on last!!!! This will save you alot of headaches. Any questions e-mail me. LARRY

  4. Hi, For your info a 350 (4 bolt) block is much easier to obtain than a 327 block. Also cost!!! You would use an adapter bearing (MS 1110 H) for a 283 crank with a 350 block. LARRY

  9. THANKS for your comment and info!! I've posted a pic. in my Personal Gallery of a old engine dyno run from APR. 03 and compared it to the new engine dyno run in SEPT. O3. It is hitting around 320 ft. lbs. by 3400 rpms. In my current configeration it is leaving the line fast enough for me at this time. 8) The HONDA'S are really NEROUS NOW!!
  10. We used a 2in. by 11in. alumn. bracket welded to the radiator and 2 bolts to the frame on each side. CALIFORNIA STREET MACHINE did the engine build and ADVANCED DYNO TECHNOLOGIES,INC. did the dyno chassis pulls and air/fuel mixture. They also did the custom wiring, fab. and assm., and carb tunning/timming !!!! They are located in SUISUN CITY,CA.
  11. Good eye!!!! Yes, I purchased the car on e-bay in DEC. 02 and it was delv. in JAN. from the seller, who lives in TEXAS. In APRIL 03 started the replacment of the trans. and engine. All major comp. in the engine bay were replaced and a blower, with it's accessories, was added to the new engine. This was completed in SEPT. I have not touched the exterior as I bought it as it looks now. As to dyno figures the original headers and restricted exhaust were not changed and a very mild cam was used. The new engine has 500+ miles on it now and the HONDA'S ARE NERVOUS!!!
