  1. There are only 2 types of rear interior pieces: 240z/early 260z and late 260z/280z. The early 260z keep the same rear interior panels as the 240z until around 8/74, then there were some body modifications for the later 260z and 280z needing different pieces.

     

    The early 260z interior pieces are said to be a bit thicker then the 240z pieces.

  2. I would like to add a follow up question. Can I remove the vent line that runs from the top of the expansion tank to the charcoal cannister and then use both large diameter hard lines as fuel delivery and return lines. If yes, should I just cap off the top vent line or "Y" it into another line? Do you see any problems with fuel delivery with the larger return line?

     

    Early 260z, L26, SU's with both electric and mech. fuel pumps working.

  3. There are only about 3 major manufacturers of drill presses left, located overseas. There castings are put together under many different brand names. The better castings go into better quality machines. You really get what you pay for with these types of items. Check your local want ads and look for a better quality used one rather then getting something that is cheap but new. Delta, Jet & Grizzley are good.
