I feel like I have been bugging you enough. Anyway i just pulled it out and flattened it now its running fine!

No dice, that bar is solid. Im thinking about cutting/welding somehting in its place, but I'd rather not.

I have a sr20 in my '73 240 using the McKinney mount setup. I'm running in to an issue of the drive shaft rubbing on the e brake support bar that runs from the lever to the other side of the tunnel and connects to the cable. the drive shaft has less than an 1/8" of play between the bar unloaded, when the engine has any load at all (even mild acceleration)it hits and makes an awful noise. Anyone have Any ideas?

Im looking in to buying a donor 280zx that is automatic. What other differences are there from the 5sp counter part? The ecu will be different, will the wiring on the motor it self be a little off? I dont want too many surprises. Thanks, Ps:i did search all i found about was the mechanical aspect of the auto / manual swap.

My 73 Needs a front mount bad

My Father had a 73 240 and a 76 280 when he was my around my age. He talked about them, and showed me pictures when I was younger. I always wanted one, but until recently did not have the funds... but the glorious day has arrived!!!! Oh, BTW I am 22 yo.
