  1. I would def be interested in the future. Doing an rb swap isnt cheap as it is so any cost savings is appreciated. I have browsed through the forums numerous times and seen your oil pan work so i am sure your mounts would be top notch as well. Keep us posted. Mine would be for a rhd. Mckinneys will work so i am sure yours would as well.

  2. Nice Clark. I agree any pics would be great! I am still a bit away from doing a swap but have been researching the rb the ka and even an ls1. i want to do everything right so i am working on all my suspension stuff first. i have been learning to weld and have some patch panels to put in and some new zedd finding floor pans. my l24 runs decent but i want to eventually have more power. after reviewing all the engines avail the ka seems to be the most cost effective when it comes to power for the dollar. i dont have an fabricating experience so i may eventually do the mckinney mounts just to make sure its right. its a bit pricey but like i said i want to make sure its right. i also have a 68 2000 and the engines are rather pricey to rebuild. thats another reason i am looking at a ka. i want to get familiar with it so i can most likely put one in the roadster as well down the road.

  3. Longs story short worked on my carbs a few weeks ago. I go them cleaned up nice but did not put a sealer on it :( We got massive flooding and all the moisture in the air wiped out most of my work lol. Flash rust city. When I was cleaning up this time i thought i would have some fun with it. Since i was taking them apart and cleaning all the little parts anyway i decided to add some color. I had played with the green a few months ago and put it on one carb dome and decided i liked it. I redid it today as well as the other dome and cleaned and powdered a lot of other misc parts. Should look really nice when i am done. Here are some of the parts i did today. I am gonna work on the bolt heads tomorrow and hopefully get them back together so you can see the big picture.

  5. Want to buy a 75 280z engine bay complete harness from the coil end to all the way through the interior fuse box. I have the 76 harness into my 75 and it seem like it doesn't want to work on my car. So anyone tat has what I want, please pm a price and well go from their. Thanks

will look for you tomorrow. i need to see what kind of shape it is in.

  6. thanks rb. i picked up some outgas primer from columbia coatings today. i am going to test it out tomorrow. I am going to redo the green mirror. There where not many outgassing bubbles, probably cant see them in the pic, but enough to bother me. I am going to try it again tomorrow and see how it turns out. I may post some pics of it tomorrow as well. i will let you know how it turns out. Its pretty inexpensive and i have heard many good things about it. howdy phil. i assume i will see you tomorrow lol? as long as the roads arent bad

  7. Right now i have a the basic eastwood hot shot gun. its my first one and not to bad. I really want to upgrade to a kool koat gun from columbia coatings. They are not far from my house and where all my powders come from now. I got the kit which was like 140. comes with plugs, wire etc... def make sure you get those things as it makes your life easier. I have not made it to the flakes and such yet. Looks awesome. I have only been doing this for a few weeks trying to get the learning curve down. as for the oven i use a standard oven i have in my garage i found on ebay. its nice though bc its a stacked oven so i have extra space.
