  1. I`d setal for 1 of these Nice ! ! !
  2. If you fell you might have to lose the Z, y spend the money in it? Then again you could sit tight and see how things end up. Which ever car you go with, increasing HP means you need; better braking better handling both = more $`s Just my opinion.

    Pinto Ad

It was the 2 door hatch back model. Vega Kammback
  4. Bones, A 280 block bored .040 with flat tops and say an N-42 head along with your carbs, cam and header would make for a very nice running fun car. Don`t know what HP rating you would end up with.
  5. franklin, The rear springs should have a thicker coil diameter.
  6. Some times you`ve just got to wander!?!?
  7. I`m not an SU expert, these folks ZTherapy have some or a video that I heard people talk about for hipro tuning.
  8. Go to Motorsport Auto and ck their site for pics or request a catalog. If you have their lastest catalog, they show the flares on page 12.
  9. oldzman maybe your talking about the MSA IMSA type flares?
  10. I worked in a high school with the IT dept and it was harder not to look at all the lovely, sweet, luscious girls than it was doing the job I was getting pay to do. I`m glad I have no daughters. It Just Aint Right! And it SUCKS getting old!
  11. Yes it does! Steve, can you give a tire size that relates to your 9" slicks? (??? / ?? R15)
  12. I think this is what your talking about - The bottom(biggest)nut holds the ajuster assembly in the head. Both the top and middle work as the ajuster pivot and lock nut. The top is the ajuster pivot and the middle is the lock nut for the pivot. Loosen the middle lock nut to ajust the top pivot ajuster. Then tighten the middle lock nut after valve ajustment has been made. It`s a good idea to ck ajustment after you tighten the pivot kock nut. Hope this helps!
  13. Alan, Thanks for your reply. I don`t know what 50,000 Yen is in US dollars, probly to much. It is a very nice looking valve cover! I`m always looking for something different and cool.
  14. Hey Alan can you get any of these Valve Covers to the US?
  15. Neil, Ck any/all vacuum lines. With the car running(neutrals ok)pump the brake pedal several times fast, if the engine idol goes eratict it`s a sign of a bad brake booster. It can be changed by unbolting the M/C from the brake booster, but IMO take the M/C off. The 15/16 ZX master cly would be a good upgrade.
  16. I`ve been using the regular NGK plugs, Anyone have any insite on the NGK platinum plugs?(for performance use)
  17. It`s one thing to be in the drivers seat and totally different to be in the pass seat! I`ve gone out for some "hot" laps with friends that are racers and instructors and to tell the truth It`s a bit scary! To sit in the pass seat and have NO control over what`s going on, kinda makes your a$$whole tighten up. It gives me a whole other view of the track driving thing! Next time you go to a track event, get your instructor to take you out for some "HOT Laps"(even if you have to give up some of your drive time). Things do happen quikly and mistakes are made(been there, done that)! So once again, Hats Off To The Racers & Instructors !
  18. Mark, Are your rear control arms from ZF Racing?
  19. Mark, Very nice looking Z! Did you make the axle shaft parts? If so, gona need some details. What track is shown in your pics? I like this plate !
  20. Some of that would look sweet hanging off the side of my inliner!
  21. No pricing on there site. I`m going to order a couple small parts for my webers and I will ask at that time. Looks like a nice part tho.
  22. Weber DCOE fuel injection throttle body Pierce Manifolds , about mid way down the page. I saw these, my be an option for making a manifold.
  23. Contact Pierce Manifolds and ask for a weber book called Weber, guide to parts and tuning. Not only is the book good, I`ve had nothing but good dealings with these folks.
