I was looking for this turbo(holset hy35w) on the web and after an hour I found two different kind of turbos, one with an elbow in the outlet of the compressor side, and other without it, are they the same unit? maybe diff year? or what?   2. Jon, Would those Tokico Hp work on my 280zx 2+2? Do you know if door's windows are the same for the coupe and 2+2? Is the Fuel rail for barbed injectors? How should I pay you if I want some of your car's part's? Please be advice than I out of the States but you could send the part to my address in Miami. BTW, Is the 280Zx of the photo the one you are parting out? How much for the main light covers, hatch struts ? Regards, Diego

  5. ON3GO One Question, That "cutout" that you use is like a "gate" for change from "normal exhaust" to "open exhaust"? Do you get a proper seal from those "butterfly" nuts? Thanks and regards, Diego

  9. Thanks about the comments... drftn280zx2+2: I'll be getting some custom-made turn light whit the same shape of the front. There is a shop near my house that can do it for me for almost nothing... I'm still thinking about the color...What do u Think? Amber for JDM look or clear for some "Europe" look? I'm looking for a "clear & nice" body kit work...something like "stock-performance" look...and not just add weight to the all ready heavy ZX 2+2... I thinking about use fiberglass hood & rear hatch too... I'll post the sketch of the rear next week... BTW my ride is yellow and the lines you see on top and on side of the car will be grey...like a cobra design... Regards from Costa Rica! Diego

  11. Here is the reason of this tread: - This guy from my town is parting out a Mazda Rx7 Turbo II and he is selling me his re-built HT18-2S turbo for just $100. It looks in great shape and I know the guy who rebuilts it. I used the search tool with no results, so... My question is: Could this turbo work with my L28 engine??(do not worry about custom headers or that) I can not find the turbo's flow Map, so im lost in the space... I read in a Skyline forum that it could be use in a rb30 or so... Here's some info: "Mazda and Hitachi jointly developed the HT18S-2S Twin Scroll turbocharger for the 13B Turbo. This new turbocharger was designed to have virtually no " turbo lag " by having a flap that varies ( vacuum operated @ above 2500rpm ) depending on the load that opens wider during heavy load to have greater throuput and torque band. The turbo had two exhaust intakes into the turbine, the turbo acted as two turbos, by having both of advantages of small and big turbos, giving fast low end torque response and high end power.   12. Hey guys! My firt post after 2 months of be part of the HybridZ Family. I have been using the search tool and it help me a lot with my project: a 81' 280ZX 2+2 N/A to Turbo . I all ready order a Megasuirt, an Electromotive HPX unit, I'm making an engine rebuild, gear box rebuilt, custom cluth, suspension upgrades and I'm looking for a turbo. I read all the treads about turbos and turbo upgrades and I will choose a turbo soon...tie budget and here in Costa Rica is hard to find used turbos anyway...
