I ran into that problem myself a few weeks ago on my 77. I ended up just cleaning the old one off real well. I cleaned the electrical parts with contact cleaner and a q-tip but be careful not to get the cotton fibers stuck in the wire. zcarsource.com offers refurbished units that run around $275

No I ment the fuel sending unit that is in the gas tank. It sucks the fuel from the tank and sends it to the fuel pump.

forgot to add, its for a 77 fuel injected

I've looked all over for a fuel sending unit. Motorsport doesn't carry a fuel sender, neither does nissan. Does anyone know where to get a fuel sender?
