  1. Hopefully they send you the right set. I just got mine in the mail today and they are for a SBC engine instead of a GEN III. Grrrrrrrr!
  2. Just checking in. I will be needing a set of headers soon and don't really want a $500 set of shorties. Are these long tubes still being worked on? As was stated before, please don't let this die!
  3. If I wanted to buy the manual z2go I wouldn't have asked for a simple explanation. Even though 20 bucks doesn't sound like much to you, it is to me. I didn't want to waste money on that manual when all I need to know is how to calibrate the tach. I didn't realize that would be breaking any laws so I do sincerely apologize for asking.
  4. Could you possibly post the V8 calibration process for the tach when you get the manual. I and many others would appreciate it. Thanks!

    My 78 Z

This car was originally a California car, then it sat under a deck for a year in Colorado. Then I purchased it for $2,000 in October of 2009. It still had a Cali tag on from 1986.

  9. That's an awsome price. Looks like you got it all mapped out well. Good luck on the swap!
  10. Well that didn't work out very well. Sorry about the coppied post. Anyways, I was going to say if you havn't ordered the corvette fuel filter/regulator yet the have a kit on eBay with the correct quick disconnect an -6 fittings and the filter. I just got mine in the mail the other day and it's quite the time saver.
  11. That baby should haul ass! I'm doing the same swap on the same year car only I had to pay 2k for mine. Just ordered the cam for it today. I bet your done before me.
  12. I'm in for a set. By the time they are available I should be ready unless the install of the engine/tranny and wiring go realy fast. I'm impatient but it might be worth the wait to have a set of long tubes in the 280z. Thanks Cable for putting in the man hours to get the ball rolling on a set of "real headers".
