I called the tech support line for holley. A nice gentleman there named Jeremy is assisting me in getting all required rebuild parts. also possibly customizing it as well but that is only i get it re fab. it works fine. just getting it clean.

Well this is my first ever attemp to rebuild a carbeurator. What I am rebuilding is a 4150 holley racing carb. Starting with degreasing and carb cleaner to get it clean and then replacing the diaphram under the indiviual fuel bowls. Will post pics.

Thank you braap. I have also started a thread in the non tech section. but i has come to my atention that is has already been brougt up and rejected. But if you could take a look at it and give me your advice. I do believe it would help out alot. If anything at least a member info section possibly. broken down by area location and such liek a directory.

Ok. wow i dont have anyting to say to that. I as a new member would find it more helpful if there were people in the local area that were on this forum. Is ther any way we can set up a link page. Or possibly a thread or something. Trying to spitball right now.

I was a memeber of newcelica.org when i had my celica, and along with that. not only was there the forum as we have right now for our forum for the z. But it was broken down by west and east coast. and in there there was sub forums from which it was more detailed such as :example norcal, socal, bay area. If this where here i think there would be a more boom or a surge z owners in that area getting together and doing this such as local meets, bbq and such and this would be another way to get the forum out there. Also it lets people now if there is anyone in the area to help them with a possible build or such in case they need help with anything.

Just like the title says. Im in search of 280zx 2+2 floor pan replacements. I have been everywhere looking and though i had found what i was looking for at the z store. But the floor pan replacement was for a 280zx coupe. My question is are the floor pans replacable with the coupe ones and such and the under rails will have to be longer. ???

Ok so this is going out to braap. Look very informative thread title. Do you like that? And im in the right place to post this. Damdn look what happens when you take the time and actually "read" the forum rules. But please dont jump down my throat im still trying to figure out to resize the pictures. so i apoligize for that. they are supposed to be at 500x100 Ok so here we go. here are some pic of the 305 small block bored 30+I have. The motor is out of a 78 buick regal with a 30 272 cam 10 10 crank msd ign 350 turbo tranny and a stage 2 shift kit. still getting more histopry on the motor and it's spec. Such as compression, I forgot whay type carbuerator..... Here are some just pics i took ..... Currently the car is gutted. I plan on trying to cut out as much rust as possble and then replace it as usual, but with a twist. After replacing all the floorboards, I plan on taking some polished diamond plate and cutting out the "Z" logo and placing the the diamond plate ontop of the floorboard. The idea is in my head and not yet on paper. For the motor I hace a smooth idea of pulling it, lowering the compression and putting an a stage 1 turbo kit from wrench rat racing. With all parts being replaced of course. As for the hood. I have a fetish with carbon fiber. I think that is all that needs to be said. As for the interior, metal, with diamond plate floorboards, metal sides and such, replacing the seats with "highend" perfromance seats, custom made. as fopr the rear hatch. Since that car has a nice slope the it i plan on welding a flat deck to it in such that it will hold a voltex custom carbon fiber wing. Again plans are in my head and not on paper yet. As for the color . maybe that stock blue with a little pearl. But as for now need to remove as much rust as possible and get the thing primered. I will post pics as progressis shown. i am looking foward to the help and advice from the forum as this happens, and if anybody is close enough to ventura let me know and we can get down on this car thing together. Always many hands make lite work.

Ok brain fart. we are talking about the racing harness..... not the harness i found under the passenger seats. yes the harness is being moved to the bolts in the rear. So i fully understand what was said before. The harness bolting points will change.... Good looking out thought.... Thank you.
