So what fuel is used to generate the electricity that is used to charge the batteries?
they actually sell wind generators for your home with some of them, or you can buy them too.
-
its not a by-pass valve your looking at by any chance?
-
Cool purchases. Post pics when you get a chance. I'm intrigued about that A8L.
Ditto, interested in having a look at one....
hang on, I am off to google images.

Those are some crazy cars! I don't know if I would drive that old school drag car with the pumpkin between your legs though.
I was thinking the exact same thing.

Can't imagine that the Metal Storm system would be used in such large formations without a better rearming system. Hand loading each barrel on a 24 round launcher, makes more sense to just use a battery of normal automatic grendade launchers adapted to be used in a more accurate system.
Very awesome though!!
I think the idea behind it is a fire once, all at once, scenario, take out a whole troop in one quick barrage, and if you had say, 3 people reloading each gun, who had done a fair deal of practice, they could do it rather quick I would say.

I have a few more odd engines in the files that I'll post later..
I don't know what it is, but I love the idea of the setup.

I have signed up, looks pretty cool.

Just the other day a guy at work was telling me about this picture.
-
I'm surprised that engine ran even an hour in that position.
be like running with no oil at all.
rod knock anyone?
-
hahaha, i found that really funny.

you guys are freaking hilarious!!
I am eagerly watching this, cant wait to see who is next....

What does this crankshaft go to?
wasnt this just posted in another thread less than a week ago?
Its a boat engine, but i cannot remember the specifics, but it comes in different configurations like 10/12/14 cyl ect?

Congrats on the new toy,
You know It might not look like 1 million bucks, but I love Zs like yours. flat black or bad paint, kinda cool old school wheels, a bit beat up, but packing heat. nothing says cool like a car that seems like a total POS but can lay the smack down when called upon. I would seriously consider leaving the exterior as is and just clean up the engine bay a bit, add mega-squirt, and intercooler and be done with it for a bit. Don't get all wide eyed when it comes to new paint and new interior and blah blah blah, just drive the thing and enjoy it.
sweet deal eh!
I totally agree with sparky, leave it lookin how it is, just FMIC and MS it, will be a ton of fun and not too expensive that way. and best thing is, you get to actually drive it, not look at it in paint jail.

holy crap, thats one impressive piece of work there mate.
Well done.

i would love to do that IF i didnt give a ♥♥♥♥ about the cars. hey how do you think we get some of our half cuts?

oooh nice sound!!!
Very nice indeed. Makes me want to did my S30 out and get it going again (only needs a fuel pump).
twice pipes sound horn, but I prefer my single 2.5" for a road car.

looks good, I love it when i spot a fuel cell sump on a street car, usually a good hint that there is something not normal going on, like the local SR20 400rwhp escort that sounds like a stocker. hehe.
-
AHAHAH, thanks soo much guys, you seriously made me LMAO, "you are your own buddy" heheheh
Again, Thank you.

Ahh Mr MAD, awesome car, carries the front wheels a bit tho
great to see it in person

geez the cars sold to australia are all over the shop then, mine is 100% original, '78 260Z (still called a 260 in aus, only 280s are the S130s) with the '75-'76 speedo, 77-78 door striker, 77-78 volt/charge gauge, and the early deep full size spare wheel well.
-
wooohoooo who needs traction??
heheh, nice man nice.
-
yeah nice setup, i saw that on supraforums, guy makes a nice air box too.
-
another thing to consider if you want it to be better off the line is to go with an auto with a big stall converter.
Say a 1JZ or 2JZ with a GT35R and a 3200 stall, would be wicked quick in a Z.
-
2JZ Twin turbo Aristo and weekends the 71 Hakosuka (Mods are coming along nicely).
TErry
3 cheers for the aristo, I am over the moon with mine, Great car, and it reverts back to daily duties while my Z is off the road. (like now while i need new brakes)

1981 2+2 t-top manual. Owned since 2004 (first car).
rust removal and respray in 2004/2005.
RB20DET conversion in 2006.
Parked up in 2009. engine run once a month since, up until about 6 months ago when rats ate the coil pack wiring. Still cranked over though.
Just got it started again last week thanks to some new coilpack wiring.
Needs new brakes and wiring fixed, then I am going to try and get it registered again. (I have a rusted out '82 S130 for parts)
If I can get it registered, it will get a full S13 coil over swap and front brake upgrade with new master cylinder, R33 rotors and R32 callipers.
Then will fix little bits of rust that have shown up, respray again, new wheels, front air dam, maybe flares too?
No pictures at the moment, but I will get some up soon.
