  1. Sorry you have to pay about .20 more for a galllon of gas. Car looks very nice. Tom
  2. I ride a Trek 2300 road bike but not as often as I would like or need to. Commuting to work would not work for me because the patrol car is parked in my driveway.
  3. With what we have to pay this year I could have a top running race car. Oh well there is always next year. Sweet car with some nice new upgrades. Tom
  4. Cut the rest of the top off along with the windshield and you have yourself a lightened track car. Tom
  5. Derek, you had to throw some of that fancy math in there. Makes me want to retake Physics & Calculus in college again. It would be nice to have an affordable system to use before going to the track. Some tracks have scales you can use to just get whole car weight.
  6. I drove from KY to Kansas in my 72 240 and then all the way back on only 3 cylinders. The cam shaft twisted in half on the return trip. Cruising was OK but going up hills was terrible. Tom
  7. Looks real good. I like the way your flares blend in with the body all the way down to the rockers. I feel it gives it a more complete look. Tom
  8. Nope, I have a late 260 and there is no issue with the drive shaft. Just need the R200 and mustache bar. Just pulled mine out again yesterday to drop in a Quaife lsd. Tom
  9. I guess some people have a lot of free time. Pretty cool set up though.
  10. I like the lower rear end skirt on the black car. Would look good on my track car!!! Tom
  11. Looks like a good base to start from with some nice flares already present. Just wide enough for a street car. BTW, do you do repos with that truck? Looks like the type locals use here to go in undercover to grab cars. Tom
  12. I just picked up a used Quaife the other day and am waiting for it to get here. Hopefully I will have no problems with it as my friend has had one in his car for awhile and loves the feel of it. Tom
  13. I have Corbeaus in mine also and like you the frame seat supports are gone to lower me in the car and gain headroom. The only problem with this setup is that the Corbeaus have a wide shoulder area so it pushes out on the door when closed and causes problems when I try to open it. Tom
  14. It seems that option B would work the best. Close off the bottom half of the lower section then somehow close the sides of the top half. The side top sections would somehow have to be removable so you could open the hood. Unless you get rid of the factory hinges and just use hood pins at all 4 corners. Tom
  15. Jeff, you are more of a glutton for punishment then me. The steering wheel is nice and shiny though. Tom
  16. I am waiting to see how the US version goes with Adam and the gang. Don't know how it is going to come off without the wry British humor. Tom
  17. If he insists on you waiting then I would tell him to put it in writing that he will respray and get half the money back as an incentive to him to fix the problem. If he won't hopefully you used a credit card so you can contest the charge. If not then your only recourse will be small claims court. Good Luck. It still is a nice looking ride. Tom
  18. Why don't you just pick up another Z tank? Either from dealer, picknpull or used one from ebay or other web site.
  19. Some nice corn growing in the fields in that one clip. Oh yea, nice car also.
  20. Well, I guess I will be different here and give an argument for the exhaust. If you are just street driving your car while doing modifications as you can afford them then a saggy suspension you can deal with. You already know how it handles and will react to your inputs so you can drive accordingly. If you have an exhaust system that is going to start to get worse it can do that without you knowing. Exhaust fumes can sneak up on you and the next thing you know you are blacking out and running off the road or worse into oncoming traffic. Believe me I have investigated crashes where this scenario has happened. I know, there is always someone who thinks SAFETY FIRST.... Tom
  21. Need to Copyright that before someone steals it and makes a million...... Happy Holidays to All. Tom
  22. Nice job Clive!!!!!! You are right, it might not come back to you tomorrow or next year. But it will someday. Tom Trying to talk myself into doing that driving sims game you guys are doing.
  23. When I do my DE events consistent lap times are the only thing to gauge whether or not you are hitting your marks every time. I like the concept alot and it gives you a goal when you are out there with cars of much greater HP and cannot keep up in there pack. Tom Good video of some nice Z cars also.
  24. Looks nice. Wish I had your roll cage. Are you going to track the car? Road courses or 1/4 milers? Tom
