That is awesome. So how did you get from design to paper to aluminium?
Does the design software create a print and you cut out the shapes?
Is the software freely available?
I'd love to learn how to do this.

I have one of those Champion ones and mine just sprung a leak. I won't be buying that cheap stuff again!

I'm looking for a 280ZX turbo dizzy shaft, please let me know if you have one for sale and how much you're asking. I have paypal.
Thanks.

I'm not sure if you guys caught this final post on this thread, which summed up everything nicely:
-
Did you ever work this out? I will be doing this mod and interested in your progress.

This is probably the only Datsun camshaft FAQ you will ever need : http://www.datsport.com/racer-brown.html

Yes it's a pita to do on your own, try and get some help. You can also use some washing up liquid to help slide it on.

Thanks guys.
I did see that post, I might give it a go since there doesn't appear many other options.

I am starting to gather all the parts for my valvetrain and I want to have my rocker arms prepped. Are there any companies left with a great reputation that can lighten and polish them.
I was thinking of going for the billet ones that are currently available , but I havent read much feedback on them. If anyone can convince me to go for them then please let me know.

Congrats Cleve, that's a very nicely put together ride!

I think that unlikely. Not having seen it, I imagine it's running 14-15 psi intercooled, very similar to what a single turbo will do. Assuming it's an L28 that is.
Correct, running a same sided Spearco intercooler.

Twins are not for the faint hearted- it did take some fab work and yes you do need to account for extra pipework, oil lines, filters etc but it wasnt too difficult.
For me it was a learning experience, what can a HKS turbo kit from Japan in the mid 80s achieve, I havent turned up the boost yet but I'm very impressed with how the power is delivered and how she drives. I've also got a set of HKS ITBs, with a HKS surge tank that will go on next to compliment the HKS theme.
I'm writting from an iPad at the moment so not easy to attach pics, I'll add some when the ITBs go on.

I'm running a HKS twin turbo set up on a RHD car. The turbos are 2 x HT18 38B units, old Hitachi units.
The car was dynoed at 290hp and 325 lbs/ft of torque, power comes on smoothly and car is a joy to drive. The plumbing wasn't that difficult to set up and with a RHD car you have no issue with the steering linkage in the way.

Thanks John, they are definitely in all the way as they are flush. Would the quaife ATB come with the circlips as standard?
-
I've recently had a Quaife installed into my R200. Previously it took some force to remove the stub axles from the diff as there are circlips within the diff that keep it in place. However, now that the Quaife is installed the stub axles come out with no resistance which makes me think they did not put the circlips in there.
Did they just forget to do this or is it the case that the quaife just isn't designed to incorporate them?
I'm moving to CV shafts so are they necessary?
Also, should I send it back to them or is it easy to add the clips?
Thanks.

That's a lovely looking bike Mike. The ninja series has been out for some time now in different guises if I'm not mistaken.
-
I've got one now, thank you.

Instead of having one made to fit the battery compartment, why not have one made which follows the contours of the inner wing. Not everyone will want to relocate their battery.

Found a set.

Thanks guys, I don't have MS but my aftermarket ecu should hopefully understand the output (Link G4). I'll be trying one of these.

Please could someone explain to me how this discs allows you to run fully sequential injection. In the past I've read on Hybridz that as well as a crank sensor you require a cam sensor to run fully sequential injection.
If I've missed the explanation in these pages then I apologise.

If you're going to use my short shafts, you can also use early Pathfinder front CV's as they have the same ends but with (too) short shafts.
Thanks John.

Thanks for the response, looking for a pair though, unless anyone else has a single one for sale
