i am swapping a vg into a 1991 nissan stanza, the harness im using is from a 1994 maxima, this image is from the 94 maxima FSM i need to know what these two plugs actually do and where the wires in them go. the plugs between the stanza body harness and the maxima engine harness are different (stanza body harness is a 4 pin, maxima engine harness is a 6 with 2 pins jumped for some reason) i have the stanza engine harness which i plan to steal the 4 pin plug from and mate that to the maxima engine harness to connect the two together. i have managed to find some wiring diagrams (both appear to be engine harness/ECU pinout diagrams) that may or may not be of any use from the google machine. i am not sure what the plug might be labeled in them and i dont know if the plug has a traditional name that im missing, while im pretty familiar with wiring diagrams im having trouble finding the plug here (if its even accounted for) i know the plugs contain a power connection that i definitely need to complete in order for the ECU and the distributor, tps, etc. to get power. if i cant get any information while i wait ill probably just complete the power connection and see what else isnt working while i go through the car. of course my multimeter has to crap out on me a week before i get into this harness work so ill be buying a new one of those but in the mean time i thought i would seek out the help of some experts. here is a link to my build thread to maybe lend some insight into what im trying to accomplish: https://maxima.org/forums/3rd-generation-maxima-1989-1994/695655-turbo-vg-swapped-stanza.html

I run a speed/customs shop in SLC, UT I have a customer wanting to look into either an engine swap, or turboing his VG30E. We are wanting to keep things Nissan/Datson and preferably Z car. I've been doing research the past few days. I was thinking of doing a VG30DETT swap, but I'm not finding much on it. I see a few people saying they were doing the swap, I find two lack luster videos of a car that had the motor fitted, exhaust system in but incomplete plumbing for the coolant system and no video of the car actually running. I found one video with a z31 supposedly running a VG30DETT only showing the gauges. According to what I have found it is virtually drop in with z32 trans, minus modified oil pan or swapping for z31 oil pan.Obviously exhaust and turbo routing is custom, One spot said shifter had to be modified another didn't. Obviously running all new electrical and either stand alone or z32 ECU, modified driveshaft, but what else? He wants to do forced induction, more specifically turbo. I enjoy the unique, but also don't want to spend time and money I won't make back. If I build the VG30E what parts are readily available as far as internals are concerned and what have others done to get the most out of the VG30E? Thoughts, ideas from those experienced with this platform? Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone, I own a 1971 240z with a vg30e motor swap that was done by a previous owner. I'm looking for more power and have read up quite a bit on the nA to turbo conversions. I have found a 1985 300zx turbo donor car and I'd like to do the conversion. I'm no mechanic so i do need help. Does anyone have any shop or mechanic recommendations for this type of work?
