New-to-240z
Hey Everyone, I took out the damn bolts and lost them!! I was hoping someone could quickly let me know the type of bolts that are used on the sway bar. I'm talking about the bolts that actually bolt the sway bar to the frame of the car. there are two on each side of the car. I just want to run down to my local ACE or HD and pick some replacements up if I can. Really appreciate it guys!
Nigel
IIRC, they're M8 bolts. I'd guess that the length was 25 or 30mm. Doesn't hurt to go a bit longer. Nigel '73 240ZT

Lazeum
Check the grade as well. Don't take the first bolts you'll find without checking this point; Grade 5 or 8 in SAE standard or class 8.8 or 10.9 for ISO. There isn't much load on those bolts but it's better to do it right the first time Bolts btw are M8 x 1.25 x 20, you will also need a "Grower" washer per bolt (the spring type)
