Leash
I need the adapter that attaches the EGR tube to the manifold intake. Here's where its located, number six on the list: http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsunS30/DatsunFairladyZIndex/Engine280Z/ManifoldEgr/ToJul76/tabid/1605/Default.aspx It has to be from a '75 or '76, any other year will not work. Need one ASAP!
RB26powered74zcar
I don't see a # 6 except in the "Calif" section of that sketch. Is that it? I have a 76 non Ca 280z with a non egr manifold. Is it on that manifold?
Leash
I believe only the California models had the EGR, so it would need to be off a California model. If the car doesn't have the EGR tube, then it won't have this adapter. I was having some work done on the exhaust and the mechanic lost this part. I need to get this car smogged this coming month and haven't had any luck at the Junk yards. MSA doesn't even carry it, just the tube. Megatherion
Go to the home depot. They sell some of those copper adapters in the plumbing section. I've used some of those in the past, the thread is different in some cases and you'll need some glue to avoid leaks. Here's mine with one of those adapters to make the n42 exhaust tube and adapter fit the n47 intake manifold, you'll need a different one of course.
