Owen C.
My room mate has a 95 mitsubishi galant, 4cyl, auto. When you try to start it, the gear pops forward like it should but the starter doesn't spin. We thought it was the starter itself and replaced it. Now the new one is doing the same thing. My first thoughts is a relay but I don't know where I would be. Any ideas or help would be great or a link to a site or somehing.
dexter72
Check all the battery and starter connections,Make sure they are not corroded and that they are tight. Make sure the battery is good. If they all check good. You can have a bad electrical part of the ignition switch or bad battery cables also.
